- What do Redskins GM Bruce Allen and Charlie Sheen have in common? WINNING, obviously. As in, “You should know that the current status of the Collective Bargaining Agreement will not disrupt our preparation for the 2011 season or swerve our focus from the Redskins’ objective -- WINNING.” What would have made this even more awesome? The victim was seven months pregnant with Gayle’s child.

- Cowboys practice squad WR Troy Bergeron will return to the Arena Football League and will join the Cleveland Gladiators. There’s no lockout there from what I understand.

- If you’re looking to interview the Jets coaches and executives during the lockout, good luck. Because that won’t be happening. UPDATE (1:09): The Jets are saying that the requests will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
- Some former NFL players are more than just big-time opera fans. Some of them actually sing.
- The Lions played host to former Nebraska CB Prince Amukamara and former Cal DE Cameron Jordan. Said Amukamara: "I should be licking my chops to go out there. I played with Suh at Nebraska and he made the games and life a lot easier for me.”
