Pick-Six Podcast: Week 14 review + MNF preview

By Will Brinson & Ryan Wilson

Week 14's just about taken care of and several things are abundantly clear. Well, OK, not that much is clear, but we know that Tim Tebow is a winner.

On Monday's podcast, we break down Tebow's success against the Bears, who's to blame for the Cowboys latest fiasco, whether T.J. Yates can help the Texans win in the playoffs, if Greg Jennings injury is an indication that the Packers will sit or start their players the rest of the way, if Detroit's righted the ship with a narrow win against the Vikings, whether Raheem Morris is on the hot seat, plus much, much more.

Also, we preview the Seahawks-Rams Monday night scorcher of a matchup.

Pick-Six Podcast: Week 14 NFL preview

By Will Brinson & Ryan Wilson

The Steelers handled the Browns on Thursday night, but it was a bizarre game -- on today's podcast we break down Ben Roethlisberger's injury, how he managed to keep playing, whether the Steelers should be concerned, and if James Harrison is going to get fined and/or suspended.

Then we take a spin around the NFL action scheduled for Sunday, wondering if Oakland is a sleeper to take down Green Bay (no, really!), if Chris Johnson can keep running against the Saints, whether the Falcons are playoff-worthy, if Tim Tebow can take down the Bears, if Jim Schwartz can wrangle the Lions and whether we'd rather have Tony Romo or Eli Manning for the rest of their careers.

Pick-Six Podcast: George Atallah + Thurs Preview

By Will Brinson & Ryan Wilson

Despite there being no lockout, the NFLPA's been under fire for a number of issues (a lack of HGH testing, the suspensions of some Redskins, Cedric Benson) and union spokesman George Atallah was kind enough to join the show in break down where the union stands on those issues.

We also discuss in depth some of the issues surrounding HGH testing and whether or not it's a viable option for 2011.

Then Ryan and Will break down the Thursday night matchup between Pittsburgh and Cleveland, wondering if the Browns have any shot at all to upset the Steelers and if the trade that gave Atlanta Julio Jones (and the Browns Greg Little) is already a bust for Cleveland, and if Pittsburgh is the best team in the AFC.

The guys also break down Archie Manning's latest comments about Peyton and Andrew Luck and how they relate to the Colts future.

Pick-6 Podcast: Warrick Dunn, Week 14 film room

By Will Brinson & Ryan Wilson

It's the middle of the week which can only mean one thing: Andy Benoit joins the podcast to preview the upcoming slate of games, film-room style.

There's plenty to discuss as the playoff races heat up in both conferences. The Giants face the Cowboys in a matchup that could determine who wins the NFC East.(Although Dallas' schedule the rest of the way is markedly easier than New York's. Of course, who thought the Cards would beat the Cowboys in Week 13?)

And the Titans face the Saints in game Tennessee desperately needs to keep pace in the AFC South and in the wild-card race.

But that's not all!

We also talk to former NFL running back Warrick Dunn about his work with Crown Royal at the Cowboys-Giants get-together this weekend. We also get his thoughts on Michael Vick's comeback story, as well as the Eagles' struggles this season.

Pick-Six Podcast: Archie Manning, MDS, MNF

Posted by Will Brinson & Ryan Wilson

Week 13 is all wrapped up, and we break down the Chargers-Jaguars matchup.

We've got a special guest this week though, and Archie Manning joins the show to talk about the BCS matchup, the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award (click to vote), the status of Peyton Manning's health, why Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin are more vulnerable to critcism than other people (and if they deserve it), how Eli's developed wide receivers this year, the Ole Miss coaching search, and how Peyton and Andrew Luck would work on the same team.

Then we break down whether or not Tim Tebow can be an MVP candidate and bring on our good friend Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk to discuss Tebow's candidacy, whether the Lions are a shinking ship, and much, much more.

Pick-Six Podcast: Week 13 NFL review

Posted by Will Brinson

Week 13's nearly a wrap and we fired up the podcast machine to break down all the big issues.

We wonder whether or not the Lions are getting out of hand, why coaches can't hit two-point conversion usage, what was going through Jason Garrett's mind during the end of regulation against the Cardinals, what teams are most likely to make the playoffs in each conference, if people are still hating on Tim Tebow, if there are any "elite" teams other than the Packers, if the Panthers need to stop running Cam Newton, and much, much more.

Pick-Six Podcast: Tebow a Pro Bowler + Film Room

Posted by Will Brinson

No, we're not trolling for podcast downloads -- this is a serious question: is Tim Tebow a Pro Bowl candidate?

OK, so it's not a totally serious question, because he's not a Pro Bowler. But the idea's being thrown around, so Andy Benoit and I break down the possibility.

We also do our Film Room spin around the upcoming games, wondering if the Texans can keep winning with T.J. Yates under center, whether the (fizzling?) Lions can slow down the (sizzling?) Saints, if the Vikings are a dead-team walking sans Adrian Peterson, if the Bengals can get revenge on the Steelers, if the Giants can turn things around against the Packers, where the Chargers/Jaguars go from here, and much, much more.
