I sometimes question the attitude of Dumas.

Can't let them get narrow the lead any more.

Gees, 5 missed FT's and lots of bad decisions down the stretch and USCU cuts the lead to 8.  Elston is not a PG, why is he bringing the ball up?

In case you missed it, Gary Parrish noted on his blog page the exchange between Miami (OH) coach Charlie Coles and a Lexington UK game announcer after their game:

Q:  "How did this one get away from you?"

A:  "I can't believe you asked that question; I really can't believe it," Coles said. "Let me see here. Kentucky Wildcats. No. 4 in the country. I'm hearing four first-round draft choices. And you're asking me how that got away from me ? Why don't you ask John why it was so close?"

"They're the Big Blue. You ought to know that," Coles continued. "I'm not mad at you. But where have you been? And where are you from, sir?"

Gabriel then told Coles he's from Lexington.

"You're from Lexington?" Coles said. "Oh, my Lord. How did it get away from me ?"

Classic.  Way to keep it real with the Big Blue, Charlie.

It just hit me, Gus Johnson was the color man for the IU game, are you kidding me?  dude was a CBS fixture during the tournament, and now he is with the B10 Network? wow. Yep.  He did games for BTN last season too.  He's still doing games for CBS also.  Nice upgrade for BTN based on some of the lousy play-by-play guys they've had.

Ouch...  Tough to watch the Hoosiers struggle in nearly every phase of the game today.   Ole Miss is solid, but IU failed to get back on defense too often, turned the ball over way too many times, struggled offensively in the half court...  Fortunately, there are more athletes this year and with time for everyone to get know each other's game, this team will get better and better.

It's way too early to be too concerned.

It's way too early to be too concerned. Tell me about it.  We're 3-0 but we're giving up way too many 3s to weak teams.

They need to learn not to foul so darn much, especially Rivers. He needs to stay in the game. BU shot 32% for the game and still beat us because they shot 40 free throws. Ugh!

I say 80-65 Maryland. This past week and a half has shown us we are not ready to compete with big-time schools. I know Maryland is struggling right now but they are still a talented team

26-21 IU up just over halfway through the first half. The kids are playing hard and looking allright.

Holy Cow! This thread has just under 62,000 views. That is pretty unbelievable!  Kudos for keeping this thread going as long as it has.  LOL!
