Although several IU players have worn number #11. In terms of namesake, i will go with Isiah Thomas.
yeah, I was being a smart-arse when I typed that, but the similarities are kinda cool...
the interesting thing too, was that after the game, the BigTen network did a bio of the 1981 team...
t'was good to watch.

Dad, Dale, Kane. this feels like the good old days. I feel like I am in the Cheers bar, everyone knows your name, lol.

yup...sure does...

are you saying dad is our "Diane Chambers"??

Anyone else have a man crush on Drew Luck.

I dunno.... let me answer that question after Thanksgiving weekend (me and the Mrs are going up to
Indy to watch the Colts play the Bills) Cool

Dad as our hot, next-door type bartendender? Dad, are you down? LOL I can dig that. So question on something unrelated. Thoughts on mohammed frorm UCLA now being ineligible for the time being?

Thoughts on mohammed frorm UCLA now being ineligible for the time being?
why is he ineligible?

weren't UK fans convinced, at some point; that he would be in Lexington??

yeah, they were...

I would be willing to bet a 12-pack of Michelob Dark in bottles
that those same UK fans are going to villify this kid more than
anybody else...

Oh but of course. UK fans are in many ways like a girl. They get jealous, they have no idea what they are talking about, etc. A UK fan at my work on Tuesday got mad at the election results and says "Those idiot kentuckians don't know what they are doing!" Pot meet kettle

well, now; that's a whole different can of worms right there...

I'm assuming you still live in Indiana (which carried Romney),
and you possibly still work in Indiana...

but work with a UK fan...that's an Obama fan, but complains about how Kentuckians vote?

why didn't he/she complain how Indiana voted??

honestly...nothing shocks me with elections anymore...
it's FUBAR.

Love the pickup of Noah Vonleh.  He even cancelled all of his other official visits.  That says a lot about how good this visit was.  Definitely will ease the transition to the post-Zeller days (Unless Zeller comes back, which IMO is very unlikely).  I would think a top 10 recruit would be a one and done, but Dave Telep, the ESPN recruiting analyst, says he's probably looking at two years in college.  I'll take that over any one and done (except for maybe Wiggins).

LOl  Just reading the posts now.....Diane Chambers...hmmm.  That is an interesting comparison.  I don't pick teams based on what mascot can beat the other mascot though.  A few drinks sound great right about now.

Love the new recruit Vonleh.  Crean just keeps on rolling.  I am ready for the 24 straight hours of college basketball that starts tonight.  Too bad the Hoosiers game is not going to be on tonight.  At least I found an app that allows me to listen to the games live versus following along on game tracker.

The match ups tomorrow night should be good - Michgan State versus Kansas and Duke versus Kentsucky.

Welp...

IU up 13 at the half...

the inside game has picked up, and finished the half strong...

only 5 turnovers, and 55percent field goal shooting to boot...

all things considered...North Dakota State aint that bad...
they push the ball and can jack it from deep...and they
hit their free throws...
