Well Duke sure got their butts handed to them on a silver platter last night. Holy moly, haven't seen a whoopin' like that in a long time. 

Come to think of it, alot of top 25 ranked teams lost last night. Duke, Creighton, Minnesota, just to name a few. Big shake ups in the rankings!!

Morning, and Happy Trump Day, counters.  ktopp, I posted on another site that I frequent that I thoroughly enjoyed the national broadcast of UM's layup line practice.  Now, when does the game start.  Apparently, Duke never left NC.  That was embarrassing, to show no heart like that.  Barry Larkin's kid is pretty darn good, though.  Te'o.  Sheesh.  Are his handlers just as dumb as he is?  His people "produced and supplied" to Jeremy Schmuck at BSPN a "spreadsheet" of his supposed phone logs.  Now while BSPN did say they could not be independantly verified (wonder why), they ran with it.  Um, HELLO!!!!!!!  I have a spreadsheet showing I've had several hour long phone calls with Mila Kunis, too (or Danica, if you like, ktopp).  I mean, really?  As Mike Florio at profootballtalk said, Te'o's people have just backed themselves into a corner where their only out is to produce the REAL phone records.

Wow, I just read that story about John Bigler and his family.  They think that guy Scoen will only get 4 years??  That's ridiculous.

On the topic of drunk driving, I've heard that technology exists that will require a driver to blow into a device in their car to prove sobriety, and if they fail the test the car won't start.  I don't know how perfected it is or whether it will ever become a reality.  It certainly would be an inconvenience for people who don't drink, so maybe the answer is that people with a DUI conviction are required to use the device.  Since there are so many repeat offenders (like Schoen), it would at least partially fix the problem.

I have driven impaired more than I care to admit.  A few times (when much younger) when seriously impaired.  I'm not proud of it, and am very happy that I never hurt anyone.  I am all for severe drunk driving penalties.
