If the NFL adopted the college style OT rules, what you say to that? Yay or Nay?

 

I personally would love the college OT rules in the NFL. Makes for more exciting games.



I hate games that end in ties. And the NFL is the only major sport that can end in a tie (and no, soccer is NOT a major sport).  

I say YAY ktopp..........



It is very exciting and at least gives a team  chance if NO TD is scored on 1st play.



I like Soccer.......it is called FOOTBALL in Eurpoe... and I follow the EPL......Southampton Saints.

Go 4 on 4  for 5 minutes.....



Then 3 on 3 for 5 minutes if still tied........chances are it will take less TV time than the Shoot-Out.

Great day of college b-ball.  Indiana looked like it was going to route Michigan, but Michigan came back to cut it to four at half.  UF continues to roll.  NC State - The U had a fantastic finish.  Thought State's heave was going in.

One 10 minute OT period of 4 on 4 and then call it a tie. Split the points 1 apiece. And those points should be ignored if breaking a tie. Shootouts are skills competitions. Not a way to end a game. And this is coming from someone who's team typically excels at them. Another of Bettman's mistakes.

My wife got sick so I ended up taking my step son to the hockey game tonight.  Great seats.  Not quite in the corner but first row by the face off circle.  We lost 3 to 1 with the last goal coming when we pulled our goalie.
