Fantasy Baseball Update

Players: D2, Bean, Val, Trumpet, ktopp, JP, Buc, possibly Larry, and myself

Draft: after March 9 (preferably about one week before season starts)

what other sites do you know of?

I don't really have anything specific in mind but if that becomes necessary I will look into it. And I am in the same boat as you...it's getting pretty annoying and the only reason I've stuck around here for the past couple of years is because of the people here on the Count to Infinity and a few others. Honestly, we could probably find some other forum site that...
1. we could moderate/administrate ourselves
2. would allow active links and pictures from any site in posts
3. would be free of all of the page loading errors
4. would keep all of our pages (no deleting)
5. doesn't censor words (honestly, we are all adults here)
We'd probably still have to use CBS or one of the other sports sites to do Fantasy Sports, but that would probably only be a minor inconvenience. There are even places where you can create your own site with all of these kinds of features.

The other negative that I see with moving would be that it would be much more difficult for anyone new to stumble across the Count and join us. For example, in the past year we've gained some great new regular contributors (Bean and ktopp, among others). If we moved, no one new would ever find the Count unless one of us told him/her about it. And similarly, it would be difficult to fill up Fantasy leagues if not enough of us were interested.

So it's worth thinking about I think, but there would be a couple of hurdles we'd have to clear.

I know I shouldn't complain because of all the snow others have had this winter, but I am tired of this weather.  We have had weeks of the same weather.  Mid 30's, gray skies, freezing rain a couple of times a week.  The ground is frozen so the rain has no where to go so there is standing water everywhere. 


Give me a weekend of 70 degree weather so I can grill out and feel like spring is around the corner to get out of this funk.

Just hope the Sabres get plenty of power plays, they cant score a PP goal and usually give up shorthanded goals

Damn stupid Badgers.....losing at home to an unranked Purdue. Now our only chance to claim a B1G title would be to tie Indiana. We cannot claim it outright. But this all means that Indiana would have to lose their last 2 games against OSU and @Michigan. And we would have to win our last 2 games @ Mich. St and @ Penn. St. Very unlikely but still could happen I guess. Stupid Badgers.

I'm not a fair weather fan, am I? LOL
