Yeah I know there is bad fans everywhere, I actually like talking to fans of other teams to get thier views on my team and others. Last time at the UC I met some good people from Canada that were Canadien fans. They were suprised at the buzz in the UC and my knowledge of players for being an American LOL.

I am reading many are real down on Huet in net for the Hawks this up coming season, I think he gets the majority of the games with the back up getting 25 or so games. I have to admidt I am nervious but the team D is good so we will see.

I think its funny how narrow minded people are with this health care reform. Its no doubt that taxes have to go up in order to pay for this bill. I do believe it is a must that we put in a new health care system. Others say you have to wait for operations and peole in Canada are waiting for care like Russians for toliet paper. I would love to hear the nay sayers opinion of a socialized health care (which is not what obama is proposing) once they lose thier health Insurance and cant get coverage, or they have to file medical bankruptcy cause they were droped for varrious reasons.

Some Red Wings fans are very concerned because of Hudler, Hossa and some cap stuff. But I think they will be about as dangerous as ever. Their drafting of small players sure is not like that of the Leafs and Lightning to name two teams. maybe they have drafted guys thta will fill out like datsyk (strong on skates) or figure they can always find strength, but not talent). I trust in Detroit management and scouting until they prove otherwise. Their 15 year run is good enough for me.

Yeah I wish Sweet Lou would just go away he waits till the season is over to start to manage? the other day he took the ball from Big Z after 94 pitches. It was the 7th they let him warm up then a lefty comes up and lou wakes up from his slumber and asks for the ball. There was a heated exchange between Lou and Big Z in the dug out oh and the cubs were up 5 runs..........DOPE, go back to sleep.

Slump- thanks for remembering to mention 9/11 many Americans forget and had thier blinders on weeks after that happened, our goverment is the most hated in the world. Even before 9/11 when I would go out of the country I would not wear any thing that said USA however I did wear sports team shirts and hats. That stuff was excepted and many approached me when wearing blackhawks stuff. Most of the convo was asking about Al Capone LOL

There are some great guys here I consider friends...you are one of them Slumpbuster. When I make a title like the one I did, and say what I said in the opening post, I am fair game because I knew in advance their were more Winig posters than any other city, that wing posters coulod be VERY topugh hitting (started in the Colorado wars) and that my post was obviously a little bit instigative....I am a huge admirer of the Wings and look with great interest at their coming season..I think they will be one of the best teams if not the cup winners and I hope they are....their management will come up with answers..their core players are tremendous winners..

Don't know why he said that out of left field Thursday in court. People must of crapped themselves after he said that. Picture should at least be much clearer by 4 O'CLUCK, yes cluck as this court drama crap has turned into a cartoon show. IN all honesty, this is one of the most complex cases ever....that said, the judge could have chosen to make it simple (I won't get into the idea he may have chosen to stretch this out for the noteriety).
I think he has not said naything stupid, but it is clear he has tried to allow time to creat bids that woudl kind of solve the issues, but they have not really materialzxed as he hoped. Soon as he allowd he may nto make his decision Friday, I knew the gig was up..he would delay once agian..and so he has...
The NHL will win thsi case...Basillie and the NHL may already nearing negotiations..they BOTH have the same issue in Phoenix..and if there is no solution that works for the city and appeases Glendale..the NHL will be selling..Tampa has a horrible situation too...the league does not want to move franchises..Basillie only want sa rich gfranchise that is profitable...
RIch Basillie will be very helpful to the NHL if they want a team in Sout Ontario..he will guaranty a solid bid and rich owner..I honestly could see Phoeniz or a new franchise team or an unhealthy team in south Ontario in 3 yeaars ..and it may be tough to make a better offer than Basillie will make...
