No NHL, I gained 5 pounds after eating like a pig on Thanksgiving and off leftovers and have been brutalizing my liver during this wonderful lockout, thanks lawyers and rich BOGs arseholes.

At least ottawagh0st the youtube legend is back finally! He's been ill but back now to get us updated on what Heatley and that clown Brian Burke has been up to, lol.

All Star book will surely go straight to the top of the NY Times best seller list Laughing

The Feds getting involved now to mediate this lockout, uh oh. Last time that happened in 2005 I read bettman cancelled the season three days afterwards.

Davey Bolland and Ian White big fans of little gary, lol. Hamrlik one of only a few been in the league for all of bettman era work stoppages and his whining upset mostly North American players I noticed.

Back to beer and the high life minus NHL hockey.

Yes the Detroit Lions head coach is an effing moron for throwing that flag against the Texans on Thanksgiving but what a stupid rule!

HA the 5 pounds I have gained was from thanksgiving!

Big accomplishment by the raiders getting a shut out yesterday against the chiefs. Thier last was against the chiefs 4 years ago I think lol

I made the Championship game in my bros Fantasy league. I told him I would get in on a money doaner deal. I havent kept up with the NFL in a while. So thanks to the NHL lock out I studied and may get an A. OH I am facing my bro too, many of his coworkers dont believe he has a brother. My nick name is phantom brother (team is called Blind Llamas).

I have read that some are saying that there will be an agreement in the next couple weeks. However that puts us at January 2013, not sure how they figure to squeeze a season in. You have to figure at least 3 weeks minimum to get these guys in shape and then there is FAs to look at not to mention prospects. IMO I just see it as a huge loss and more so for us fans who support these mostly millionaires. I promise not to go to a game even if I get free tickets, that is my boycot. I also havent bought any merch and wont untill next season......................maybe.

Enjoying the snow Smile

1995 they played that 48 game season so it can be done again I suppose.

Raiders have been as gross as the Lions this season. Been tough for me to watch football. When is that Pryor kid going to get a chance to start at QB? Get the kid in there for a few plays for pete sake jeez. Matt Leinart should be drowned in the bay.

World Juniors easing NHL withdrawls a little right now though time diff from Ufa, Russia to ours is so long games on live at 4 or 5 in morning, sigh.

This is how this NHL lockout has made me feel since October

Haha, read Brian Burke whining about folks should go easier on little gary bettman. Newsflash, lawyers stick together. If Burke says he a good guy and likeable than he must be because Burke is also not unlike a teddy bear if that bear was made out of feces.

I too heard optimism about a deal getting done but I'm not holding my breathe. The BOG can go eff themselves along with the whole NHL front office legal firm of our way or the highway negotiating.

Good news blkhwkfn.......BUT I'm surprised they got a deal done.

Good Luck for Chicago and GO Canucks GO.

The teams that stay healthy will be Contenders in the Playoff's.

Yeah Larry I too am suprised, I for sure thought the season was scrapped. I guess the puck drops on the 19th we will see, many players have to leave where they are. Not to mention the fact that there is still FA issuse and RFA issues with many teams.

I find it funny that the Chicago Wolves is the Canucks farm team. AND the fact that the Canuck logo does not appear on thier home jerseys

The Agent of Scott Gomez has talked with GM Stan Bowman about a one year deal with the Blackhawks.

Not sure how I feel about that, havent been impressed with his play the last couple of years

Having seen the Morrison show, and the Johnson show before that, I'm not scared if they sign Gomez.    They'll need another vet for when Bolland goes down anyway.    As long as he doesn't dress for more than 15 games and doesn't sign for more than one year, I'll take it.    Maybe he could at least teach Bolland or Kruger something.

Gomez LOL. Why is Bowman interested in that washed up clown? Damn hating on Bolland, well wouldn't mind him on my team.

Chicago Wolves have changed NHL affiliation several times over the years I believe. Anybody know the reason why?

Pumped for games today.

BlogeSalming and Down Goes Brown clowns take it home:

Tradition at this point.
Damn hating on Bolland, well wouldn't mind him on my team.
Great when he's healthy, but those games are to few to justify giving him 5.25 x 6 after next season.   Trade him now before value plummets.     Fun player but Hawks have other holes and he's been overrated for a while now.

Thinking about the trade deadline and I honestly cant think of a move that the Blackhawks need to make at this time. You just cant mess with a team on a streak, wouldnt make any sence. The depth IMO is that of another Blackhawks team that did something a few years back.

Sure the groundhog pops out and here comes winter.........finally! Had a few nice snows the past few weeks. Our lakes need the melt off real bad. Water levels are the lowest that I can remember. Many people with shore stations couldnt even get thier boats in the water last summer.

I have been busy with Pool and baggo leagues lately. First time playing pool more than once a year in 20 years. I have to get a lot better in order to say I suck but I am having fun.

Gotta love the gas prices 3.99 per in my neck of the woods.

Plus I need to find a new job, they cut my pay big time. I could do better at McDonalds on the fry machine. Thats just the coperate way.........cut cut cut and they get raises.

Don't apply at The Pentagon, they are cutting jobs too though probably for the first time in the USA history. Budget should be balanced in a few I reckon lol.

Hawks I can only hope cool off around playoff time. This streak is scary for every team in the Campbell Conference or Conference 1,2,3, 4 , lol.

NHL front office suits want to separate our teams which I don't like. Still think the ideal division would be Wings, Blackhawks and Maple Leafs and they can lump anyone else with.
Current league proposal I hate but understand that the Wings org wanting to go back to the East because of the brutal travel but playing Boston, Philly, Pens and Habs and Leafs more I doubt will be easier physically.

This winter has been a weak one here. After very hot summer expected a cold one with lots of snow but instead got one day cold next day warm, back and forth all season.

Trade Deadline may be a quiet one with cap going down for next season to 64.3M. Been reading Rangers need to shed salary before next season and will deal at deadline but we'll see who'll take on some of there players high salaries.

Wow, Flames GM offer sheet on O'Reilly almost blew up in his face. Find it hard to believe Feaster is this stupid but he would of had to give up a 1st and 3rd round pick for him and still would not of gotten him because he would of hit waiver wire and Flames are not first dibs on him, lol. Calgary better trade Iggy, Kipper and Bouwmeester and deadline and load up on picks and young NHL players. What a mess.
