I don't like when grown ups act like children, correct. Just a personal pet peeve. Petty, I know, but harmless. As for being a jackass, we all discuss our differing opinions here. I thought that is what the point was. Who wants to read a bunch of threads were everyone agrees? I don't make personal comments (at least I try not to) as don't know any of you personally. If you believe that anyone with a different opinion than you is a jackass then that is a "you" problem not a "me" problem. Odds are, you will think that everyone else you meet is a jackass at some point as you will never share the same opinions over everything. As a 40 year old dad with a desk job, I'll be the first to agree that my life is not all action and adventure, but jerseys and emoticons? That's kinda sad.

nope. my thing is you're DEFINITELY allowed to disagree. however, there's ALWAYS been a right way to come at people, and a WRONG way. which is a YOU problem, not a ME problem...

When it's all said and done, Howard will stay because of that 5th yr guaranteed  $$.  You think that knucklehead is the max player you want to lead you to the promised land?  Good luck.

When it's all said and done, the absolute worst move the Lakers made this off season will be the Nash 3 yr/27M.

You would have better off keeping/signing Sessions.

Your now 39 yr old PG is a shell of his old self and is/will be in a steady decline the next 2 seasons.

I still have hope that the Lakers will not only make the playoffs, but get to the Finals and win.  I'm on Metta's page and never stopped believing they can.  As long as there is a path to victory and everyone is eventually back healthy.

I'm right there with you my Laker brother!  I hate to say it, and I know it sounds ridiculously cliched, but I really think the almost constant barrage of misfortune and adversity that has been raining on this team since Day 1 has actually finally brought them together.  If nothing else, it's certainly blessed us with the emergence of Eazy-E, Earl Clark and it has somewhat magically transformed Kobe Bryant, of all people, into the Lakers "glue guy".  Nash has been rock solid since coming back from the leg injury and the bench guys, especially Jamison, have started to really show a pulse.

Now we just need Metta give us solid minutes and start knocking down those 3s at a better rate and get Howard back as soon as possible...whenever he's ready...when the spirit moves him...whatever.

What would totally blow my mind at this point would be to see Robert Sacre have an out-of-nowhere breakout game not unlike what Samuel Dalembert turned in for the Bucks on Tuesday night after Larry Sanders went down - 35 points on 17-21 from the field, 12 boards and 2 assists in 27 freakish minutes!

Let's go Lakers - three more games to finish this Grammy trip...keep it going!  Let's finish strong!

I guess Jefe only pops up when the Lakers win and the Heat lose.

Most certainly when the Heat lose, that's for sure...it's only a bonus when the Lakers win, especially when both teams happen to play on the same day...on network television...with the Lakers beating the top team in their conference...and the Heat losing to one of the worst teams in their conference...without possibly their best player in Rajon Rondo.

I am comfortable with my point of view and the reasonings behind them. I stand behind my thoughts and beliefs. I don't ask anyone to change their opinion, so it obviously isn't "my way or the highway". I just feel strongly about my opinions and state them, just as you do. There is a difference.

Clippers should win if they get back Paul, Crawford, and Griffin which is expected because it doesn't look like the Heat will have Wade and Bosh tonight.

This would be a really bad L for LAC if they lose to a Heat team who may be without Allen, Wade, and Bosh.

Wade is a go but Bosh and Allen will miss the game

LAC are at full strength for the first tim all season.

Best win of the year for Miami

just finished watching the slaughter of LA's best team, lol. took lebron only 3 quarters. dwayne added more insult to the injury early on the fourth so we had to mercifully sit him too. both players clearly superior offense, defense and passing to therapist.

not trying to take away from that beatdown the Clippers just got...

but something is wrong with the clipps either that or they have just been massively over acheiving. 

Embarrassing L for the Clippers to lose to the Heat without Bosh.

But to be fair to the Clippers, the heat just had one of those nights where they could not miss.

Nothing is wrong with the Clippers. They're just not a very good team without CP3. He missed the last 9 games before tonight and they went 3-6 in those games. They will get back to their winning ways real soon as long as CP3 doesn't get banged up again
