When the thread disappeared I contacted the powers that be on CBS Sports. Here is their response.Hey Diss! You are the first poster in the new building!
Welcome, your drinks are on me.
I'm crying foul; server's crashing...really?
Yep me too but what can you do? I was really pizzed when they emailed me that they decided that there was nothing that they could do. Maybe they need to hire some new programmers.Like Maxwell Smart used to say "I missed it by that much" telling CBS to where shove their site but I like the people who come in here and I enjoy talking with fellow Colts fans, friends so I decided to try it again. I'm glad I did.
It's official, the Colts have like we all expected tagged Peyton Manning with the franchise tag. With the franchise tag he is slated to make 23 million and change next year if the franchise tag holds up. Everything that I'm hearing is that nobody can agree on anything at this point. I sure hope that we don't miss any games this season. Scary, they may be out a long time.
I guess that I still got the Pacers who got much better by giving O'brien the (long over due) boot along with my Reds but football is number one!
Go Colts!
I can't believe that someone would be so inept as to completely wipe the CBLSB off the grid! The bar has been open since when, Barkeep, 2005? I looked at the postings not too long ago and I, along with about 4 others, were among the first to get a drink here. Back in those days, I suggested nachos and buffalo wings. Now I bring my own food and come strictly for the potent drinks and the comraderie. I thought that CBS would have a backup server in place, but I must have been mistaken. Someone must have had a blonde moment and pressed the wrong key. But, hey, I guess you get what you pay for.........
About Manning, his being tagged as our Franchise players is only a stopgap measure. Believe me, when Irsay says he's fully committed to making Maning the highest paid QB in the league, I'm sure he means it. After all, Manning all by himself, is a game changer. All he needs (or needed) was a better surrounding cast and he would have had 2, possibly 3 Super Bowl rings on his dresser and banners from the rafters. As it stands he is, arguably, the greatest QB (even at this point in his career) to have only won one. And there has been some stellar QB's that have only won just one. In my mind there is only one who might be considered greater and if he was alive even he might be inclined to think in similar fashion.
Here's one for you.....and no cheating: How many SB winning QBs can you name?

I'll take some Patron in a shot glass, if you please, and put it, a la Albert Haynesworth, in the cleveage of a comely bar maid.
No sir, I won't reach in and get it like the idiot did his credit card and cup one of the the twins, I'll pretend to ask for something on the menu and wait until she bends down to help me and drink my fill from the fountain of youth. Maybe I'll use a cane and some dark shades.
Hmm....
Welcome back Thirteen!!!
Sad to see the old bar leave, but also pleases to see another bar opening in the same neighborhood.
Oh, BTW Kappa, I got 42 SB winning QB's correct. (Good trivia game)
I'm buying drinks tonight boys!
Go Jets and Go Colts!
Here's another quiz that I found very challenging. (I got 1/2 of them right)

I propose a toast to the new Colts Blue Sports Bar! Check out the new jukebox, fully stocked with great music including my Marshall Tucker collection.

Hey guys...saw this story on Sportscenter and I thought I would run it by. It's about the NFL and the NFLPA.
The NFL and the NFL Players Association have agreed to federal mediation starting Friday in Washington D.C.
The two sides will meet with mediator George H. Cohen, who helped settle the MLS labor dispute. It's a positive step in that both sides are open to a third party helping to solve major issues. The process often works as a face-saving measure. The bottom line, however, is that there is nothing binding about the process and a new CBA can only be reached through collective bargaining. The mediator is essentially playing the role of marriage counselor.
Can't we all just get along?
Go Jets and Colts!
