I wind up with you giving us all the eleven o' clock news! LOL
I know, sorry, but unlike you guys I spend most of my time in the NFL general section and if you don't explain everything they always like to point out stuff you don't include so I try to include everything I can think of from force of habit and most of the time especially Skins fans it goes in both eyes and out the back of the head. I told them after Skins implemented the college Baylor/Nevada offense that it wouldn't turn out good for Robert and I was right and they fought and fought and now they want a more traditional pocket style system, they didn't learn till the end...
I didn't see anything wrong with how he was let go, Irsay could have pulled a "Farve" you know, so that was classy with an unconditional release and will hopefully get P.Manning to retire a Colts on a 1 day contract... We'll see... If he wins a SB with Denver this year he might be satisfied with proving people wrong and 1 more ring and just give it up and retire, again we'll see. The drama is on going :}
Go Colts!!!!!
My priority is o-line and I mentioned J.Long on another forum and got shot down as being too injured and I read that he might have to be paid 15.6 mil a year, and he isn't worth that...
Not based on draft, just top priorities in FA and draft, I trust Mr. Grigson, but reserve the right to add my thoughts till the start of next season...
1. Offensive linemen--LG,C,RG,RT the guys on the line now in those positions are only back up material, they won't last a whole season...
2. Shut down corner--Not sure who right now, too early to even speculate.
3. Free Safety--Not sure who right now, too early to even speculate.
4. Awesome receiver--Wish for Calvin Johnson ;}
5. Strong Safety--Not sure who right now, too early to even speculate.
6. Keep Mathis as an OLB and get another one to replace Freeney--Not sure who right now, too early to even speculate.
7. I like Jerrod Allen's motor always running and he's all over the field on the RS and LS and that is hard to account for all the time, either him or another like him.
8. More to be added and or changed later, not set in stone, just end of season thinking :}
Ps. Again Go Colts!!!!!
Thanks Feel The Burn from a Colts fan, yea A.Luck and Ballard and the rest of the rookies are all keepers...
Ok now to Colts stuff...
Colts get the 24th 1st round pick as stated by multiple sites.
Who do they pick, oh that is a toughie?????

I saw a report that Colts got back the 6th round pick from Phins since Davis didn't meet the playing time clause, but the list still shows the Colts don't have that pick back, so we'll see...
* = underclassmen
= injury
Before you go nuts on anything above it's just showing at those picks by that CBSSports site.
Like TV listings "Subject to chance without notice" :}LOL
Watch the Senior Bowl, Shanahan being one of the coaches in that bowl last year discovered Alfred Morris so there are players to watch for :}
Have a great off season all ;}
I agree with RB; great post CCB. Regarding Arians, my hope is that he stays, but I think one of the main reasons (along with his superior knowledge of player personnel - according to reports, he had compiled a mental assessment of most of the current starters on the Bolts) why they hired Tedesco was the possibility of having Arians coming aboard and continuing and ongoing relationship that functions well. Barring unforeseen circumstances, Arians is a goner. The question now becomes who do the Colts have in mind to replace him as OC? The foregone conclusion for most would be Clyde Christensen, but I'd prefer someone else.
Good post, RB, and all true. If Arians gets the nod, and I don't see any reason why he wouldn't, I wish him all the best. His story hopefully has a happy ending. Anybody watching the Broncos & Ravens? That last Denver drive, culminating in a TD to Moreno, was vintage Peyton Manning. I LOVE the way the man dissects a defense.
HE... SIMPLY.... HAS ....NO... EQUAL!
I can't say GO B _ _ _ _ _ S, So I'll just go with
GO PEYTON!!
The Cincinnati Bengals saved $8.5 million of cap room in 2012 and made the playoffs for the second consecutive year. They have $55.1 million of room. But over half their roster will be in free agency also...
The Cleveland Browns saved $14.3 million of room in 2012 and now have $48.9 million.
After being tight against the cap in 2012, the Indianapolis Colts now have $46 million of room. By league rules Colts have to spend at least $36 million minimum of the $46 million...
If either of these teams have similar interests in FA player/players then the Colts might be caught in bidding war/wars, lets hope not...
Colts are better off getting the o-line from the draft and then the players are stuck in the contract cost on where they are selected in the draft which is quite less than an older player in free agency, and after the draft then go after players in FA that are cost effective, Colts need to resign their current FA that they want to keep.
Mentioned tonight during the GB v Niners game the Niners have 3 1st round picks on there o-line and are just about the best, we need that for the Colts, A.Costanzo is the best on the line all year and healthy add 4 more that are better and will all equal out with all 5, the starters this year are only good for backup since a whole year being healthy is not possible and then in the 2014 draft then work on the D and get some fresh defensive players. I'm all excited about the off season :} Hurry up draft day :}

We'll see how it all plays out. Grigson has a big job ahead of him, lets see if he is a genius again, I have faith :}
I didn't know this, so thought I would share..
An Exclusive-Rights Free Agent (ERFA) is an NFL player who is not under contract, but has only two years of NFL experience. If his former club makes him an offer at the three year veteran minimum salary, then that's it, he has to take it or leave the NFL. These guys have no right to negotiate with other teams. They are "free" only in the sense that they're free to quit.
Go Colts!!!!!
