I don't see how you bench Brown.  I would go Brown and Johnson.

I am in a 3 WR league. I have these guys:

Julio Jones VS CAR
Randel Cobb VS DET
Gregg Jennings VS DET
Miles Austin VS CIN
M. Wallace VS SD
Josh Gordon VS KC

Right now I am starting Jones, Cobb and Jennings. The Guy I am up against has Rogers as his QB so might not be bad to roll with GB.

Who whould you start????

YNH, I normally avoid starting two WRs from the same team, but these two, with your opponent starting Rodgers and Jordy out or limited, seems smart to me. I also like Julio, although I do think Gordon and Wallace are also good bets this week. The only one I'd avoid is Austin. I see Wallace having a happy reunion with his QB... but I still have trouble sitting Julio.

Foot, as an opposing view, the only one I'd start for sure is Charles. CJ2K will only be successful if he breaks a long one in the first two possessions, otherwise I think Indy runs away with it and the Titans go away from the running game. He could have a long one early, but likely as not he won't. Bryce is facing a much stiffer run D (this will be where we see if Bryce is the real deal or not) and if he gets one more fumble I bet we see more Dion Lewis - if for no other reason than to send a message to Bryce in a game where Philly has little at stake. So Charles is the surest bet. I'd probably start CJ2K next, but it's close - depends on how much you believe in Bryce's superstudliness.

Foot, I don't think the Colts blow out the Titans, it is a division game.  I think CJ will get his, and I wouldn't sit JC in a rainy return to Cleveland for Brady Quinn.

Wow Sam, that's a nasty set of receivers you got there...homerun potential or solid consistency.  Jennings has shown me nothing to warrant him starting, it seems that the defense forgets about JJ when Jennings is in there.  I would go with Cobb though.  Julio is tough to sit this late, but he hasn't been all that hot either, and this is a divisional road game (where he has had better games I guess).  Gordon is fun, but I wouldn't trust him here (again, in the rain).  So I think I'd be picking two of Julio, Miles and Mike.  Tough to cancel one out, but I think Jones and Austin should have more targets... but I'm still on the fence with Ryan and Romo in the league I'm talking about, meaning Austin or Jones would be my choice to sit.... does that make sense?

Cobb
Wallace
Austin

... did I just say that?  I'll have to get back to you Sam...benching Julio could be dangerous.

Hey TKO, those aren't mine! Lol..............mine are worse.

Colston
Wayne
Decker
Givens
Blackmon

Givens better give me at least the 8 points I would have gotten for Decker (actually I think he will). SJax all day hen a couple of shots to Givens down field and I say Givens has a great day.

PS Peytons 17 points last night against the Raiders make me feel like I dodged a bullet.

Now the Ryan/Romo thing will really come into play!!  DT, Myers and Janikowski got us 9 last night!!  We didn't dodge a bullet, but we shot one very wide of the target!  McFadden's 12 was left on the bench too, we started the wrong Raider.

Willone thing I want to note about Tampa's run D. The run has been good on paper but inreality teams have had thier way with the pass defence they really don't try and run cause they can through. I think Tampas runs stats are not to suggest thier run D is better than most but more a testimate to how bad thier pass defence is.

youllneedhelp I agree with Wil I like that plan of action. I do however think Miles will have a big game. Reason is Dez has been going off lately and I think the Bengals will doble dez and forget all about little ol Miles.

Got another one for you guys. I have Cam Newton but i also have Colin K, Russell Wilson and Joe Flacco any reason not to start Cam. I gotta say my gut is screaming "start Colin, start colin" anyone out there think there is any way Colin out performs Cam?

Foot,

Make your life easier.  Pick any 2 or 3 of those QBs not named Cam and drop them.  There is no reason to burn 4 roster spots on QBs. Grab a couple lottery ticket RBs instead.  Those guys are all rosterable, but owning 4 QBs is poor roster management.  Heck, I don't even have a second QB in any of my leagues.  Even looking ahead and grabbing an extra defense with a good future match-up would be more valuable to your team.  You can only start 1 QB and cam is the hottest option in the league right now.  Keep rolling him out and drop the rest.

Late Fuzzy picks- busy with fiscal cliff tax planning. Barely had time to catch some of Broncos on Thursday.

Fuzzy over Scape- Game for all the marbels. I'm counting on Skelton to produce points for my defense.
TKO over DUB-Just like Chad's matchups a little better.
Sam over Treff-Sam continues his late season push. Brown goes thud...
Joe over Noise-RBs make the difference. Will starting Beanie and Joe so deep he has DeMarco on the bench.
Lefty over Dawg-This one is close-great WRs in this matchup. Lefty by a slim margin.
Duff over Foot-another close one but I still lean toward beer over foot.

I'm off to a great start this week ..... thanks to the fine coaching minds in Oakland.  So much for matchups !!!

from Rotoworld:
Brandon Myers ran just 21 routes Thursday night versus the Broncos compared
to 49 in Week 13.
Myers was asked to stay in and block 12 times Thursday
compared to just five plays the previous week. In other words, his role in the
passing game was scaled back against a defense that has struggled to defend
tight ends all season.

Thanks tiance for your input but it's a 40 man idp roster keeper league and we keep 30. Russell ade Kap have value. I meet even trade Newton for a good young linebacker and go with one of them next year. Flacco continues to be my demize maybe I'll consider dropping him but i just know when i do he will have the year of his life.

Question gurus:

Need two RB's from; Matt Forte (in now), Bryce Brown (in now), Mikel Leshoure.  Already started Knowshown.

Need 3rd WR from; Josh Gordon (in now), Malcom Floyd and Nate Washington.  Already started D. Thomas, and V. Cruz is in.

Appreciate any thoughts. ....

I did not realize your league was so deep.  That being said, however, none of those guys have Cam's potential in the near term (next two years).  Kaep could blossum into a superstar down the road, but they are all held back by conservative play calling.

Despite the fact that you can keep so many players, I would still argue that you should not roster 4 QBs.  Only 1 can start.  Your number one happens to be a young elite QB.  Roster spots have value, even with 40 of them.  If nothing else, you should be looking to execute an off season trade for someone struggling at QB or with an old QB.  I would not trade Cam as he is the only player in the group who is the focal point of the team's offense.  Can that change? Sure, but I would not feel good about going into next season with any of Kap, Wilson or Flacco as my number 1 guy.
