The fact that Bryz has a better save % and worse GAA shows you what he was surrounded with. Tomas Vokoun had a lot of goals against him to, but everyone knows he's pretty darn solid. Gotta have more quality offensive players that can maintain possession and defensive players other than Keith Yandle, right?

Watched NHL LIVE today. Islanders being mentioned a bit on being a possible "dark horse" team. I think thats a good start already!

It was Kevin Allen from USA Today who really likes the Isles as a playoff hunt team. EJ seemed to agree though not as enthusiastically as the USA Today guy. Kevin Allen has been USA TODAY's hockey writer since 1986, and he's president of the Professional Hockey Writers Association.

I think Mr Allen has a clue.

 Anders is 6'5" 220, he's a BIG Dude, fills alot of net and he was one of the top goalies in the Swede Elite League. He's better than Koskinen, who's a mere 6'6", both taken  in the 2009 draft. MK 2nd and AN 3rd! Garth baby!
