That's actually a brilliant idea, Lud.  Delonte played well for us.  I think he may be a bit of a psycho though.  Word.

In the Ainge interview yesterday he stated Delonte is in their list.  Listening to Danny, I get the sense their may be a small trade still being discussed.  They have about a week to figure this out.

Same here. I want Paul to retire here. I don't think we can win a title with or without Paul at this point but none the less I want Paul to retire here.

#1, Rondo for Howard is not happening, nor would I be in favor of that deal.  I believe Rondo is the piece to build around.  Having him here may even draw Howard to us in free agency. 


#2, we are 4 games over .500, a position nobody could envision us in a few short weeks ago.  All-Star break is over.  Denver is coming up Tuesday as we head out on our west coast trip.  This swing will be crucial for us going forward.

#3, enjoy the game boys.  We still have a LOT of basketball to watch.

They have made trades. In the summer of 2004, the Lakers traded Fox, Payton, and their 2006 1st round pick for Chucky Atkins, Jumaine Jones, and Chris Mihm. I think the interesting thing about the trade was that the 1st round pick, after eventually being traded to Phoenix, turned out to be Rajon Rondo.  

Rule, yeah thanks for posting this trade.  I did same on another thread.  Yup, the pick was key, as the Celtics had mortgaged their payroll and tossed away picks prior to Danny coming on board.  That trade was the start of good things for Danny and the Leprechauns.

It was interesting to follow the path of that 2006 1st round pick. The Lakers traded it to Boston. Boston traded it to Atlanta for Antoine Walker. The Hawks traded it to Phoenix for Joe Johnson. Then Phoenix drafted Rondo and traded him to Boston for a 2007 1st round pick. That was a highly traveled draft pick! 

I am interested to see what Terrence Williams brings to the table. I am afraid that it will be a good bit less than the Brazilian blurr but you never know...

I am looking for a strong start to the second half tonight.  I don't know if my heart can take another one like the last C's/Nuggets game though!  Word.
