10 Corporations Control Almost Everything You Buy

Yeah it's actually the first if the translations are correct.  That's what I've been saying.

No, it isn't.

It takes a massive leap of faith to think a guy living in say 66AD could make accurate predictions for today. It also takes a ton of assumption.

Now, thinking that same guy was actually writing about his own times, esspecially when the translations actually back that up, is taking much less assumption.

It says that an army of 200 million from the east will cross a dried up Euphrates river to fight in the battle of armageddon.  It wasn't until recently that China could field an army of 200 million because of their ever-growing population of 1.3+ billion.

"And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them"
(Revelation 9:15-16).

"And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared"
(Revelation 16:12).

Iraq Suffers as the Euphrates River Dwindles

The Euphrates used to be a powerful river in Iraq until recently when it was dammed in Turkey.  Now the water flow has been reduced by about 80% and it's drying up.

It also says that:

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come."

Only recently have we seen christianity preached in virtually all nations on earth.

This would astounding had the book of revelation been the first to make this "prophecy". It wasn't. Old Testament books like Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and do the same.

Again, you have to look at things in the context of when they were being written. Anyone living around Babylon obviously saw the Euphrates as the most important riven in the world. So if they were going to write some terrifying stuff they are of course going to include that river since it was so important to their lives at the time.

No different than modern writers who include things like nuclear war, oceans risings, earthquakes seperating continents, or other common current fears.

If an earthquake suddenly seperates California from the rest of the US......does that make every fiction writer who included that in a story a prophet? It doesn't.

Kinda moot anyway. The Euphrates drying up is number 6 in 7 trumpet plagues. Wouldn't the first five need to happen first?

In the first one.........fire is thrown upon the earth and burns up 1/3 of the trees. In number two, 1/3 of the oceans become blood. Three, wormwood comes and poisons the world's rivers. Four, 1/3 of the light shining from the sky dims and complete darkness. Five, an eagle comes to tell us all of woe on earth and a star falls to the earth unleashing the Locusts.........scorpian tailed warhorses with a man's face and lions teeth not to mention hair of women and locust wings. These things are gonna be cool. They are commanded by a king but can't kill anyone, only torture those without the mark for about five months. Awesome.

Seen any of that lately? Oceans full of blood? Complete darkness? Talking eagles? Horse/scorpian/manfaced/lion-toothe
d/flying creatures?

China has a current army of around 2.6 million, down from around 6 million they had at one time. So they are a bit short of the 200 million required.

Besides.......doesn't revelation basically say they will be mounted on horseback with the horses having fire and brimstone coming out of their mouths? Think China has grasped that technology yet? The horses also have lions head with snakes for tails. I'm sure they is a lab somewhere in China right now where a scientist is breeding lions and snakes with horses.

And, by the way, Christianity has been the largest religion in the world for about 1600 years and has been on every civilized continent since the early 1600's when it came to the Americas and Africa.

A generation according to the bible is how long someone lives.  For example, joshua lived 110 years.  But as I understand it, it's also not described as a set time; it's described as the span of time from birth until death.

A lot of people have been born and have died since Israel became a state. Still no endtimes.

I'm waiting.

It doesn't say all the world is there to see it, it just says everyone from all tongues and nations would see it.

Right. So I guess he predicted television. That make sense seeing as how all this other prophecy is so spot on.

That's what it says it is.  It's a resurrected roman empire.  But it has influence over all nations on earth.

He is actually talking about the actual roman empire. Not a resurrected one.

It's the same with many parts of the bible in general.  But in this case it's hard to tell what's literal and what isn't.  So by the usage of occam's razor, taking things like '200 million army' and a 'dried up Euphrates' literally would be making the fewest assumptions possible.  That is, again, if the translations can be trusted.

200 million army is a huge assumption as there is no fighting force on the planet that large. Not to mention that, as stated above, that army consisted of men mounted on horse/lion/snake hybrid creatures that spit fire. That army is raised by the four angels released from the Euphrates and kill 1/3 of mankind.

I believe this quote by Einstein is relevant:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."
- Albert Einstein

Swell. It's a shame I won't be there to see it.

10 Corporations Control Almost Everything You Buy

A great industrial nation is controlled by it's system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the world-- no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men.

- President Woodrow Wilson
What do you know?  The president that signed the federal reserve act into law complaining about big bankers and the credit system.  Goes to show how plastic and fake these big government socialists are.  One of the most destructive and moronic presidents ever.
