The ACC Thread...................................

ESPN had the Heels recruiting class ranked 18th overall with 11 of the 17 recruits being 4 star guys.  We haven't done that in a long time.  Scout has us ranked 30th because we only signed 17 guys and they rank by the total score (signees x star value).

Fedora is going to put UNC football back on the map. With him mediocrity is unacceptable. GO HEELS!

I thnk UNC will be a force in the ACC. Just look what Fedora was able to do in his first year.

If VT doesn't step it back up it will be between the Canes and the Heels. May the best team win!

Just got off the phone with wmich. He's in great spirits and this is the best he has sounded in the conversations that we've had. He went to the doc today and they made some adjustments to his medications including adding something to help him sleep.

He is anxious to get back online and get back to working. It's frustrating because he wants to be healed and back to normal yesterday and he just has to keep plugging along and appreciate the small victories.

He says to tell everyone hi, he misses all of us and appreciates all of the support that he continues to receive. He was really happy to hear that RJ's surgery was successful and that he's been back and posting again!!

And WT.........you were right, it was the southern "drawl" that he was struggling with when you guys talked!!

Yes, but let's get something straight. Talking like Jim Nabors is not sexy. You've got to tone it down a bit and speak from the bottom of your lungs like Clint Eastwood does. Now the ladies love that.

Well they won today against UVa who is in 3rd place in the ACC.  They are young and most of us thought this would be a dicey season.  Roy didn't expect Kendall Marshall to go pro early, so our freshman point guard is learning through trial by fire.  As one Carolina poster said on the UNC BBall board, he couldn't find the paint with road cones and a police escort.  Pretty much sums up our situation.  We have become an outside shooting team.

Yeah, that was a good win. I do worry about our inside game, though. Not the usual UNC dominance I'm used to seeing. There is always next year. Hopefully we can get some big guys to protect and attack the basket.

Maryland is trying to wiggle their way out of the $50 mill but the ACC is saying No Way Jose. 

NC court rules that the lawsuit can take place in the NC courts. First round goes to the ACC. 

Just the court costs alone are going to kill Maryland.  This is likely going to be a long and expensive ordeal.  Hope the B1G can pony up the money for Maryland to join because Maryland sure can't do it on their own.
