Geez, did you read my post? Look, let me break it down barney style. I assumed in a post that you were in favor of banning assault weapons, to which you replied that you didn't think that was enough. By that, I suppose you mean any semi automatic weapons. Not all firearms of course, but anything that doesn't require you to cock****, or pump, or reload before firing again should be taken off the streets. Imagine the carnage that someone could spread with just a little old .22 long rifle! See, anything that allows the shooter to fire over and over without having to manually jack another round into the chamber could be used as an assault rifle. One could inflict just as much carnage with a semi auto .30-06 (a very common hunting rifle) or 12 gauge shotgun (also very common) as an AR-15, or AK 47. So, if we do ban all assault rifles, the logical thing to do is ban all semi automatic firearms, which is what I think many, including yourself are really after. For arguments sake however, let's assume that all the assault rifles were banned. Those rifles have got to go somewhere, and many of them will end up on the black market, It's inevitable, it's just going to happen, instead of in the hands of law abiding cititzens who respect life, and respect their guns. How is it the guns fault, anyway? Is it Jack Daniels fault if someone drinks a whole fith, and gets into their car and kills a whole family of five? I think not.

What are the chances this dude was on those?From the sounds of it so far, it seems likely he might have been on some sort of medication, or had recently quit taking a medication that might have been prescribed to him.
