There is more than just a trade going on here, I don't play in your league, so it is tough to judge whether the trade is fair or not. In most cases people are under the assumption that it is just player trade versus player trade. We have no idea of knowing if it was collusion or not. Are you trading with a team that is 0-8? Are you 8-0? Obviously trading with a last place team does look like it could be collusion. Im not a big Deron Williams fan, but the trade may have been rejected not because of you getting Deron, but you giving up too much to get Deron. I think CBS does do a lot of stupid stuff and has no respect for their customers, I'm surprised the trade made it through the voting process by fellow owners. I would have rejected that trade unless both of those fantasy teams are just awful.
same thing just happened to me and was eventually turned down by cbs and confirmed in an email to myself, so cbs definitely makes the ultimate decision on the trade in public leagues. btw the offer was Ricky Rubio for DeMarcus Cousins
If you are writing...looking for validation...you know it would have disrupted the balance of the league in your favor. You know a bad move when someone else takes advantage, why don't you admit it when you do. Trades, I believe, should improve both teams and not hurt the league. I got a feeling you will try to dupe someone else.
not every trade is perfect. in fact ive lost in a few trades that have gone thru, needless to say they were all vetoed at least 3 times and each time i was just hoping no one else would veto. i think ppl see it as a chance to get back at the players for successfully making a trade even tho it may not be completely fair, but whats fair these days anyways? its funny bcuz no one else has made a trade without me being involved to yet ive traded with a third of the league. shameless people is what im suspecting
D Will is have a bad season thus far. He'll probably pick it up later, but his shooting % sums towards the end of the season/playoffs for some reason (over-use by coach?) so I would have thought this was a fair trade.
It got overturned because it's so hilariously unbalanced that it looks like collusion. Jordan Crawford is a really fringe prospect, he's talented for sure, but basically only valuable in a punt FG% build, and that value will be negated some when Wall gets back in a few weeks. Jared Dudley is legit, but is just a glue guy for a fantasy roster, and while the rankings are kind to him right now, he won't be this hot all year - so the people judging the trade are taking into account the fleeting nature of his present value.
Deron Williams, despite the shooting struggles, is still a stud. I wouldn't play in any league that'd let that trade fly, there would have been a lot more complaints if it did. You need to offer ballpark value, not a glue guy and a (fantasy-wise) near scrub. If you play so much fantasy basketball you should know better than this.
100% agree with this guy, its a fair deal who cares, sorry to the other owners who didn't make an offer for Dwill. In my league I have 7 guards and need a center, well one guy has Gortat/Jefferson/D12 so HE OFFERED ME Gortat/B Knight for Mayo/Bargnani, I accepted as I need the C help he needed the G help, helps both teams doesn't hurt the league. VETOED, complete trash that it takes 4 of 12 to veto, we are playing for money and because another owner goes ahh both teams would get better I can't have that is bull, I am looking for an email to the CBS commish so I can send an email saying how crap this site is and looking to get my trade approved.
