I guess that's just your opinion .....but again...pot calling the kettle black.
It's actually not my opinion, you have never used facts when talking about this or when we talked about Percy, you only used opinions, unless of course your opinions are indeed facts? I have always used facts.
Well some of the top defensive teams are not not in the Super Bowl either, so by your logic you don't need to have a solid defence to be in the Super Bowl.
Ya know the funny thing is I never said you need to be a "defensive" team to win. I just simply proved your comment about having to be a passing team to win was wrong. My original comment was you can still win in this league with a good running game and a good defense. Try to pay attention to what I actually say, don't change my words to try and prove your opinion.
The AFC's top running backs team was 2-14 and the NFC's was one and done....so by that logic you don't need a top RB either to be in the Super Bowl.
This is great, Let me say it again since you obviously don't pay attention I never said you would win the Super Bowl if you had the best running back or you had the #1 defense. I said you can still win in this league with a good running game and a good defense. You don't need to be a passing team to win. I realize you really can't use facts to try and prove my facts wrong but it's become sad that you are just making chit up now.
Yes you do have to be a passing team and be successful at it to win consistantly....That's just a reality
Who's reality? Surely not the 49ers and Ravens who for the 20th time ranked 15th or lower in passing yards, td's and attempts during the regular season At least you are half right in this statement, because you do have to be successful passing, but you don't have to be a "passing" team to win.
Saying you have to have a good quarterback doesn't prove you have to be a passing team, having the threat of a passing game and being able to pass when you need to is important, but you simple do not need to be a passing team to win, i'm not sure really what else I can say, facts obviously aren't enough to show you that your opinion may be wrong.
without a top rnning game you still can because you can use the pass like a run in screens or short dump offf passes etc....
You better have a good defense if you don't have a running game. You ain't winning the Super Bowl simply because you are a top passing team. Examples, New Orleans and Green Bay during their Championship seasons. What happened the following year when their defenses dropped off? You guessed it, they watched the Super Bowl at home.
Ok hutch lets use facts right now to show our sides of the conversation.
FACT #1 : Neither Baltimore nor San Francisco finished higher than 15th in passing yards, passing td's or passing attempts. Please use facts to prove to me how they are passing teams.
You do not win Super Bowls without a passing game
FACT #2 : I never said you did. See, either you are ignorant or you cant read, I said you didn't have to be a passing team to win in todays game, which i've proved over and over with facts, Refer to fact #1 if you have forgotten already.
Let me remind you of what the argument has been about hutch since you obviously don't know.
You said this is a passing league and you have to be a passing team to win. I disagreed, I said you can still win in this league with a good running game and a good defense. I never said you could have no passing attack and win, I simply said you do not have to be a passing team and no matter what you believe this year proves what I said, you don't have to be a passing team to win. Just because a team is forced to throw more in a playoff game doesn't make them a passing team.
It's weird I feel like I have proved my point 20 times and you just keep giving insane analogies without ever actually giving me a fact to prove your point.
Honestly i'll just stop there, the rest of the garbage you posted makes no sense at all.
Now, just a reminder, please give me facts to prove you have to be a passing team to win. One of these times you'll give us some facts, maybe this is that time.
