So Ruprecht blame ME for HIM getting his facts wrong.

Gotcha.

I worked for Three Rivers, not the Steelers. It's not MY fault you don't know the difference.

Sure could have used that security guard when Ray Lewis was murdering those two young men.

5 seconds to again be wrong.....20 years. Sure beats 4 years swabbing decks and then moving up the corporate ladder as a security guard..to what now.....ful time troll and probably part time dish washer at Uncle Fred's Greasy Spoon Diner in Podunk Wyoming....if you work at all...which I doubt.

It takes "intestinal fortitude" to make a grammar or spelling quip?

In your case-- probably that, and a dictionary as well.

And yes I do find it mildly amusing when someone refers to the team they root for as "we" and even moreso when they refer to that same team as "they" when it involves a loss as opposed to "we" when they win.

Well, you know what they say-- simple mind, simple pleasures.

I find it even more amusing that out of all the many things you can bag on someone for-- you get all hot and bothered about people using the proverbial "we" in sentences.  That is really scraping the bottom of the barrell.  That ranks right up there with grammar quips and pedantics/semantics quips.  How petty.

Depends where you work.  The security folks at my company get paid a heck of a lot more than any 20 year flatfoot or 4 year sailor.

Tailhook?

Nope, other end Sparky. I put them in the air. Catapult I and II for three years. Musta done something right - 4 medals and a letter of commendation.

Oh, and an honorable discharge.

Say, did you know that the VA holds certain jobs open ONLY for vets? Yup, and I have one. Pretty good money. And I get 40 hours a week, 3.5 weeks of vacation a year and 2 weeks sick leave a year, PLUS a discount on my health insurance. Which I really don't need since I'm a vet and the VA will treat me for free.

Cool huh?

You don't get many perks as a vet but the ones you get are great.

Sure could have used that security guard a decent playoff qb when Ray Lewis and the rest of the Ravens were murdering those two young men any hopes of a Bronco playoff win.
Totally true.

I can't say as I get along well with Ms Trayne, but she is correct in the fact that there are some jobs out there held for vets, and if Ms Trayne does in fact hold one, then I must say that if she does in fact hold one, then I thank her for her service.

Still don't like the way she argues her opinions, but I thank her for her service.
