Of course the Bears cut him right after 1st week of camp.  Typical Lovie.  Dont miss that guy.

Love the Joeckel selection, Barkley was an absolute steal (good luck with that in April), Lemonier was excellent value, and the Jenkins, Swearinger picks were solid. You know I'm a supporter of Michael Jenkins too, so that's smooth.

Love the Ertz pick, Reddick and Moore picks. I like John Simon, just not sure what he'll do in the NFL, but it's a good pick. Jamison I don't know much about. Montgomery is a solid pick, don't know about the system, but I won't until he hits the NFL. And to be honest the one move I hate is the trading of Stephen Nicholas, but it's more understandable when paired with the drafting of both Moore and Reddick.

All told, I like the Eagles draft better, but that's mostly due to the star power of Joeckel and value of Barkley. And I'm realizing with Baltimore it's just not that easy to have a flashy draft when you pick so late.

Stephen Nicholas is not muched liked in Atlanta. His numbers aren't reflective of how poor he played. There is a chance he gets cut. I drafted 2 LBs so I had room to cut him as well. I just couldn't pass on Jamison when I need a RB and noticed he was still there. With a good combine he could rise into the 2nd. I like his mix of athleticism and power. As for Simon I really like him at DE but he is terrible at LB no matter how much he may want to play it.

Later named that the Bears 2013 7th rounder would be the compensation.  One of those small deals bucs and bears fans know--but the rest wouldnt.  The deal was made my bday--july 26 2012.
