KU (2), Wichita State (15), and K-State (18) all three of the Kansas D1 schools in the top 20.  Sorry misery fans but I am loving this.

Give it time, and I'm sure Bruce Weber will have K St. in the bottom of the Big 12.

LOL.  All of my in-laws are KSU fans and I tell them the same thing.  They'll miss Frank Martin's psychotic glaring soon enough.

Agreed Smith. Martin left the cupboards full for Weber...............Just as Self did at Illinois. Weber only seems to have success when he coaches somebody else's players. Once Weber gets his own players in there, we will see the same result we saw at Illinois.

I'm hearing a lot of woulds. You don't know for sure a team WOULD beat a team. The only one I can give you is that Tennessee beat Wichita State and while I think Wichita State is overrated, they are still ranked while Tennessee and everyother SEC team besides UF and Ole Miss are unranked.

KU would flat out roll your overrated Gators.. that lost to K-State.  Ole Miss would not know what to do with the pressure that K-State applies.  And yes Tennesse has beaten WSU, but Michigan State has also beaten KU.. so I guess that makes them better than KU..

And to the person who asked.. what about Mizzou?  Serious questions only please.

Kansas is good, no doubt about that. But they'd have trouble against Florida, just as they'd have trouble with 3 or 4 Big 10 teams and some others across the country. People say "team x would beat team y" all the time, it means nothing but a person trying to prove themselves right.

Kansas would have trouble with Florida and a bunch of those other teams. But it would be the same the other way around as well.

Well, Indiana State won by double digits in Wichita. Creighton and Wichita State get a lot of the attention out of the Missouri Valley, and rightly so. But ISU has a nice team this season and may be dancing as well.

I like Kansas' team this year and McLemore can flat out play but some people act like they are world beaters. WVU, Iowa St. and Temple are nothing to write home about and Kansas had to scratch and claw to beat them. Don't think by any means they would run over Florida based off of what I have seen.

I don't know if Kansas would run over Florida, but I do think they would beat florida. I think Kansas is better offensively than Florida even though they get extremely sloppy and turn it over at way too much, I think Florida would really struggle to score on the Kansas defense, I would love to see this matchup in the tourney.

I will give Florida one huge compliment.  If every team in the country played their best possible game, who would be best?  I without question would say Florida.  The problem is, they are less predictable than most.  With that said, without question, Kansas is one of the best defensive teams in the country.  They have the best on ball defender in the nation in Travis Relaford (number 1 in opponent shot %), and Jeff Withey.. well he speaks for himself.  But the X-Factor in their defense is B-Mac.  He bought into Coach Self's defensive philosophy and is playing very good defense.  As I said, on their best nights I would take Florida over anyone, including KU.  Florida fans just had better hope that happens.
