ellupo...it is what it is man.  We all develop at a different pace...maturing at different times.  One thing that helped me is my desire for nice things and good food.  Neither are cheap.  Steady work has been the answer for me. 

At a point in your life, you leave behind what education you were taught and begin a life of experiences that truly mold you more than the few years you were in school.  After that, some go back to school.  I have to live and feel it or it just doesn't stick so school has never worked for me.

But that's me.  We all take different paths.  It's that diversity that makes us all a little special.  I have no regrets for my lack of education.  But I do accept there will be those that will....and have judged me for my lack of a higher education.  It is what it is.  

Like T Dummy who keeps wanting to throw my high school diploma to the winds and hop who would rather say it's all a lie for.....well I'm not sure.  For me those barriers will be there.  But I consider the source and move on.

And what are the facts? Where is the facts that clearly say Joe Paterno knew and chose to cover it up to avoid bad publicity? The Freeh Report does not have those facts. It has a lot of assumptions, but that's about it.

The facts are head people at penn state knew that children were being raped!! and they did nothing about it! now we can sit here and split hairs if it makes you people feel better, but this is not a case of a player getting a car or money, its child rape! and it was done by a coach of the football team, a high ranking coach at that and the heads of psu did nothing! i have no ill will towards penn state, i grew up in pa and always pulled for them and had 2 teammates go there and play but at the ennd of the day they did nothing to protect children and they this in action was to protect their football program!

DennyDen, you are the first PA resident who has stated the facts.  I commend you for that.

dont get me wrong, i do think the joe pa did alot of good for alot of people and i understand why the people he did help stands by him for what he did for them, but there are some things that are way more important then sports, and psu dropped the ball on one of those things in this case!

I went in the pig pen, wrestled with the pigs and I got a muddy.  In the process, I had fun breaking them down. Their last few post were almost unintelligible and they appear to be seething to the point of grabbing a gun.  They've been reduced to personal insults for the last two pages. 

The three of them care nothing about the victims.  They're interested in finding any subject that draws emotion and pick on people for their entertainment.  That's why my education level became the subject.
