ACTUALLY they DONT COUNT ! there are 46 (soon to be 47)  SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONs......if some some  BOZO ^^^^  wants to think an AFL team that won a  "championship" in the 50's  with  145 lb. line backers  AND  TEN TEAMS counts then  SOAK IT UP....but not on this THREAD
Look up League Champions and get back to us. Try as you may, you're not going to change history.

They made it to the afccg with montana.
In 1993.  And they needed to borrow Joe Montana and Marcus Allen to do it.  And even then they couldn't win.

To me, 3 playoffs wins in 43 years does the trick.  Worst franchise ever.

Super Bowl 4?!  We're on 47 now.  Does Super Bowl 4 really count for anything?  I bet they don't even know where that trophy is anymore.

Chiefs are the worst franchise ever.

While I agree that some of the worst franchises have won A Super Bowl, The Browns, Cards, and I think the Lions really set a good argument pace.  What I really like, is that only on page 2 did anyone really mention my Titans/Oilers.  They also only have one SB appearance (34 lost to Rams) and outside of a few playoff appearances in each decade, they really have set a bar of mediocrity (in my eyes garbage) in the comparison of some of the other franchises.
Hopefully 2013 is the turnaround point in which they start getting argued about on the "who's the greatest franchise" poll.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, lets put this into perspective. The Cardinals were one of the orginal franchises. Hell theyv'e technically been around longer then the Packers. But both the packers and Bears who entered around the same time have had huge sucess in the league. The bears have 9 titles, while the packers sit on 13. The cardinals though have on two, their last one coming over a half century ago. They have been around since the inception of the playoffs yet have only made it there 8 times. The cards have had some great players, but all in all they rarely if ever produce anything quality on the feild. The cardinals are the worst franchise of all time, there is no question about it. The Lions would be the worst in the superbowl era but even they and the Browns have sustained greater sucess in the pre superbowl era then the cardinals.

People go way too much by recent history. If we are saying of all-time its the Cardinals and no one else is even close.

The Pittsburgh Pirates.

In football, it's a toss-up between the Lions and Cardinals. Jacksonville is on its way.

Bills.  Even when they good they lost in epic fashion.  Only the Bills could lose 4 superbowls in a row.  Ridiculous.  They'll never be good again after that.  Too much mental instability running through that franchise.  They'll have to move to do anything special.

Getting to the championship game 4 straight years alone takes them off the list. They won an afl title too if i'm not mistaken.

Also this isn't college sports, all teams will get their day in the sun at some point or another. It may seem like a team will never be good, but eventually they will stumble upon a player or coach who will turn it around.

Lions by a landslide.

Decades of sh_t football.

Their one playoff appearance lat year, which was an unsurprising one and done, was a direct result of the Jay Cutler and Matt Forte getting injured.

Those injuries were the pitchfork that turned the compost heap.  It let the air out just a little, but it still stunk.
