Dwight Howard will not play on Sunday against the Pistons as he recovers from a shoulder injury, and is questionable for Tuesday against Brooklyn.
A source was recently quoted as saying he would "definitely" be ready for Tuesday's game, but the reality is that Howard is going to be day-to-day until further notice, as the more shots he takes to his right arm and shoulder, the closer he'll inch toward surgery. Despite Kobe Bryant recently suggesting that Howard should be able to play through his injury, it was Howard's call to sit out again on Sunday. Bench him, and consider selling him before this situation gets any worse. Howard recently had platelet-rich plasma therapy on his right shoulder, which we view as a last-ditch effort to avoid season-ending surgery.
