CBS Board Moderators are Arbitrary & Inconsistant

Have you guys also been getting blocked from certain threads for seemingly no reason.

I've noticed on the threads where I argue with others I've been getting blocked. I hit post and a white page comes up that says "access denied" even though I haven't violated a single one of the terms of service/conduct.

If one of the moderators is reading this then an explaination would be great. It's kind of hard to know which of your immaginary rules I'm not following if the only punishment is getting blocked without an explaination as to why...

It wouldn't bother me so much if I was breaking a posted rule, but I'm not- I checked. According to the rules we're allowed to debate and disagree. It even says that we can tell eachother we're being idiots.

My thoughts are that the moderators don't know the rules and that their abusing thier unilateral power to ban/block posters without any explaination as to why.

Anyone else having this problem? 

My thought is that if it keeps up we could just shift, as a group, to another website. I've found other boards that blow CBS away- they work right all the time, have spell check, allow you to imbed links, etc... The only reason I use this one is that this is, by far, the best group of posters I've some across. CBS needs to uphold their end of the bargain, otherwise we can all leave whole-sale and cost them a lot of advertising revenue, which is generated by hits, of which this particular board gets a ton.

If there's a CBS supervisor who happens to read this, please consider reigning in your moderators. They are costing you money and ruining your site by not being consistant with the rules as posted.

Are you sure that thread wasn't deleted?  Sometimes that happens when a thread has been deleted for whatever reason.  Like if a poster gets their entire id deleted, then all their threads they started get deleted too.  Dunno if that's it, but it's a thought.

Nope, it's on active threads, but exact same "access denied" page comes up.

I know Meow is running into the same problem lately.

Even if they are blocking us against stated policy, at least let me know why so I can make an attempt at correcting it.

Arbitrary inconsistancy solves nothing, and only serves to drive away the customer. Make no mistake- we might not be paying for this site, but we make money for it every single time we post or open a thread. I feel like I have the right to know why I'm being blocked, although I suspect that one of the regualr posters here is also a moderator and is abusing his power when he doesn't like my posts...

What settings have you made to your putter or program(s) have you installed lately? It's happened to me before without even arguing with any one. I would copy my post before posting it, refresh and try it again.

It's goddamn frustrating to get cut off mid debate! How else do they expect all of you invalids to learn?! Someone's gotta preach to the peanut gallery...

I do, but it seems like I'm booted from that particular thread for about an hour or two each time. I copy it, but then I'm to dumb to rember that it's copied, and then copy and paste on another thread, thus loosing the other post.

It's a vicious circle. Now you see the world of CBS madness I'm surrounded by...

I've never had this problem. Maybe you guys need to take a course on how to make chicks and influence moderators.

First off, it would help your credibility with the moderators if you spelled the title of your thread correctly.

Secondly, if you are going to start your post with a question, you may want to try ending it with a question mark. 

This might be why you aren't being taken seriously as a poster.  As a Lions fan, I'm sure you're used to it.

There is a place on the Other Boards boards to ask questions of the moderators - it's called Feedback and Announcements.  If you ask and provide a link to a specific thread, they'll probably tell you why you had a problem.

Where do I find such threads?
