We have 2 very successful 10 team head-to-head commissioner leagues that will be going into their 5th season. These leagues have custom scoring which means CBS standard scoring with a few add ons such as complete games, shutouts, hitting for the cycle, and well you get the idea. We have had almost no available spots in those leagues for the entire 4 years including this one.
We have decided to create a 3rd commissioner league team that will have an unusual twist. It will be a head-to-head 10 team league just like our other leagues with custom scoring and all that happy stuff but all teams will make the playoffs at year's end. The first week of the playoffs will pit #7 vs #10 and #8 vs #9. Top 6 teams get a bye week. Then it's playoffs as usual with #1 vs #8 and so on.
Our leagues cost $65 per team which pays the cost of the league ($149) and the other $500 is paid out in prizes as follows: #1 - 200, #2-150, #3-100, #4-50.
What else can I tell you? We have transactions limits per week of 3 moves of which only 2 can be pitchers. That way we limit the streaming. Our draft is 23 rounds which gives you your 16 active players and 7 bench spots. You are also allowed a minor league player and one injured slot.
