Ranking QB's going into NEXT season

I thing Blitz may be another Peyton homer.  Peyton has 8 one and dones.  The football is in hands in the playoffs and he has choked, as his teams were prohibitive favorites in most, if not all of those one and done losses.  Excuses are for losers.

1. I think your spelling are grammar are horrendous.  A typo here or there is excusable, but when the consistentcy of mistakes are littered throughout every post it shows what type of person you're dealing with and personally I don't go beyond a brief acknowledgement of their existance.

2.  The poorly laid reasoning behind the teams being prohibitive favorites then putting it all on Peyton Manning is contradictory and hyopcritical.  Yes, the QB generally has the most responsibility on the team but at the same time it is a team and one player does not lose it for his team nor does he win it for his team.  A team wins and loses together.

Ranking QB's going into NEXT season

UCONN, I can't see your point about Brees and his, to paraphrase, "way more attempts"

Brady averaged 39.8 attempts per game this year, Brees 41.9. There's not that much difference. Matt Stafford is the one who is at a career pace for attempts, surpassing even that of Bledsoe so far.

Brees did have a high INT mark this year, but the led the league in TDs and yardage, for the second season in a row.

In the end, their QB ratings for 2012 were 96.3 for Brees, 98.7 for Brady. Not that much difference. They had an identical completion percentage.

You make it seem as though Brady is light years ahead, and he simply isn't.  Both guys have stud TEs, but after that they both have a collection of unheralded guys that they make better. The similarities are greater than the differences. It's too bad you're too much of a homer to see that.

Going into next season I'd have it like this.

1. Rodgers-All of the top 4 can do it all throwing, but Rodgers gets the top spot because of mobility, the next three all look like they're running in mud.
2. Brady-He's slightly more efficient than Brees, so he's ahead here.
3. Brees-He's the most prolific of the top 4, and I expect to see him make fewer mistakes next season.
4. P. Manning-He's here because I think his best ball will be behind him. I expect a decline in performance next season.
5. Flacco- I know this will get flamed, but I don't know why. He is the only thrower in this group who doesn't need rythm and success to build more success. He's the only QB I've seen who can have a terrible series or even a few, throw three big passes seemingly out of nowhere with no indication of being hot, and beat you. It's actually pretty remarkable how his big plays can come out of nowhere.
6. Ryan- He'll be as good as he was this year I believe.

After these guys, I don't see the point in evaluating anyone else as they all seem so far behind. The rookies who flashed simply dont' have enough of a resume to evaluate at this point.

Just curious, where would you put Romo?
Far below guys like Eli Manning and Joe Flacco, as he can't even hold their jocks at this point.

Brees over Brady all day long boy.
Uh, no...not with the amount of INTs Brees has been prone to tossing vs. Brady.

Ranking QB's going into NEXT season

February 8, 2013 4:48 pm

Especially when you consider career stats of the INDIVIDUAL, Peyton Manning is better, even in the post season.

Wow!  QB A has 8 one and dones and a losing playoff record, while continuing to throw costly interceptions --even when his team was favorite in all of those playoff games.  QB B has ZERO one and dones and a winning playoff record, while winning multiple playoff games when his team was the underdog.  Sounds like QB B has stepped up in the playoffs while QB A has choked.  We know which QB is which.  Who was your elementary school math teacher? Flacco has outplayed Manning hands down in the playoffs.

Ranking QB's going into NEXT season

^ You do realize that Rogers cant win in the playoffs at home right? Rogers is the most over-rated QB in the history of the NFL. The only year he had success in the playoffs was when his defense was lights out and won every game from wildcard game to the SB. Great arm, noodle brain.

This coming from a fan of a team, that the head coach GM, and DC all admitted that they cheated during their only run at a superbowl. BTW what Brees` career QB rating? Isn't it 94.3, to Rodgers' 104.9? 10.6 points LOWER, and Rodgers is the "noodle brain"?

Rodgers is definitely better than Brees. But your assinine idea to compare their Qb ratings is retarded. Aaron has only played a few years. He inherited a playoff team already loaded with pro-bowl receivers. (driver,Jennings, and heck Finley and James Jones would be too if the team wasn't already so loaded at the position) Drew played for years in a run heavy offense with no receivers. (in San Diego) And even with the Saints drew is asked to do everything. There is no defense. The receivers are good, but graham is the only guy who might be pro bowl worthy. There is no doubt in my mind that any good qb (Brady) can have awesome stats and lots of wins in the afc east. And there is no doubt in my mind than any good qb can sit and watch Brett for three years, then take his job and plethora of receivers and play at an elite level. But you would have to be a good qb to take advantage which is what these guys are doing IMO. I'm not saying they aren't good, I just don't believe they are so much better. Manning has four Mvps? Drew outplayed him on the leagues biggest stage. Brady probably has two? Drew destroyed him and his team the last time they met. Afc east sucks every year Rodgers has one? Inherited a loaded team. Kicked back and learned from one of the best. Drew, zero Mvps, zero help. That's my qb. ( crying like T.O.)

Ranking QB's going into NEXT season

February 9, 2013 2:50 pm

next year???

1. Drew Brees.... with sean payton coming back... give me Brees all day, any day, and twice on Sunday.

2. Tom Brady.... most consistant QB in the league, and ill bet they add some more toys for him.

3. Aaron Rodgers.... drops down a few notches with Finley, Jennings, and Driver likely leaving

4. Peyton Manning.... hes getting long in the tooth, but more than that... i just dont trust him in the postseason.

5. Everyone else.

as for the the new guys??

1. Kaepernick - hes a frankenstein of all the best parts of the guys listed below

2. RG3 - injury concerns give me pause.. but outside of that he is a stud. would like to see him bulk up.

3. Wilson -

4. Luck - Threw a lot of INTs this season and his team overachieved. He might be better, but his team will likely fall back to earth.

5. Dalton

6. Tennahill

Please tell me you're trolling, because if you're not, you're a bigger idiot than Tikisbarber, and this list is the worst I have ever seen. But what would you expect from a Seachickens fan? There are backups better than Ponder, so he isn't even top 32, Rodgers at 6 is laughable beyond comprehension, Wilson anywhere near a top 10 list is also quite laughable, ok I'm done, I'm now convinced this was a troll post.

Is that what you got? A made up story? Ha!

Rogers is the product of his coach and system. Matt Flynn looked like a Pro-Bowl QB when Rogers sat out, but was found out to be a joke when he got a shot on a sub-par team. Heck, MM made Aaron Brooks look good for a few years. Think about that for a minute.

Also, Rogers is no where near as good in the playoffs as Brees. Thats a fact you cant deny.

When its all on the line in the playoffs, Brees is way better. That makes him the better QB.

Must be hard to except that Brees, the 6' guy who no one wanted because of an injury a few years back, is really way better than Rogers, the media champ, playoff choking-crybaby who is grossly over-rated.

Deal with it boys.

ROFL, like Brees isn't the prodoct of Peyton's stat padding system? Give me a freaking break.

Quick, do some research and tell me who has the best QB rating in the history of the playoffs. Then compare SB rings, you will see they have the same amount, and Rodgers has started far fewer years than Brees.

Why don't you get Bress' **** out of your mouth, and come to the realization that Rodgers is the superior QB.
