I said weeks ago that there was no way Lewis wouldn't retire a champion, and I was right - he's a champion again.  Congratulations to your team, all you fans, and Baltimore...a lot of great players I'm glad to see get their ring tonight.  Very deserved win.

On a side note, please keep 295 clear so my drive to the Arundel Mills Chick-fil-a doesn't take longer, or I'll break something.

Yay for Superbowl winners!

However, I call shenanagans on the blackout. No surprise that the Ravens lost all momentum in the third quarter after that bs.

Didn't you mean to say, Superbowl 47 Champion Baltimore Ravens*

*Since when is grabbing a WR with both hands and hugging them NOT holding, maybe Ray Lewis threatened to stab the refs if the Ravens didn't win*

Double murderer = Double Super Bowl Rings, good job Ray!  Cool

Congrats: some may gripe about the non-call at the end (and I personally think it was botched)...but you can't blame the refs for a loss once you've dug a 28-6 hole.  The 49ers didn't wake up until the power outage, and the deep passing game in the first half ripped them apart: well earned.

Stop it, man.  I'm not happy with the officiating on that one specific play either, but maybe if they hadn't spotted Baltimore a 28-6 lead in the third quarter, they'd be holding a trophy right now.

Different opponent, same story - one team played 30 minutes, one team played 60.  The team that played 60 deserved to win, and they did.

TOOLZ, you're still a tool.  I respect your dedication.

TallWhiteNinja, it was a better game than I would have expected at the end of the first half.  That power outage changed all momentum.  The 49ers will be back though.  That team is set for years.

Clovdyx, hope to see a third AFC Championship game in a row between the Ravens and Patriots.  Two best AFC teams of the last two seasons

Congrats Ravens Fans!  Well done!

Love seeing an "old, past his prime, too slow, etc" Ed Reed still bringing it!  LEADERSHIP is an important ingrediant to a champion.  He has it.

Just so happy and proud of my team tonight. They did it in the usual Ravens style, hard fought and the usual let down in the middle of the game but just enough to finish it off.

I know this team has a ton of big decisions in the offseason.  Does Ed come back?  Flacco will almost assuredly get franchised, which will limit the salary cap.  We are going to lose quite a few good players off this team. Ellerbe, Kruger, Boldin, McKinnie, just to name a few.

I hope that Ozzie can replenish the troops so that this team has a shot at the playoffs again next season.

For now though,  SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS and no one can take that away from my team!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They survived a momentum change due to a stunning power outage in a SB.  They survived Ngata getting injured.  They survived a stirring comeback from the 49ers and their dual threat QB.  Joe Flacco showed he is the man.  Boldin proved he's still got it.  The defense made a stand when they had to.  Ray Lewis went out on top.  Matt Birk went out on top.  Ed Reed has his ring.  Joe was the MVP and tied an all time quarterback record.  Joe has as many passing touchdowns in one SB as Big Ben has in THREE!  Joe is going to get paid big time.  Will the Ravens survive having to pay Joe big time?  THEY FREAKING WON THE SUPERBOWL!!!!  ENJOY THE RIDE!!

These are just a few of the thoughts that are racing through my head right now. WOW!

Was a great game by BAL. John totally outcoached Jim in the first half, but as has been most the year the 49ers made great halftime adjustments but it was to little to late this time. Enjoy your offseason.

Loving it!!

That power outage had me on the edge, and my fears were confirmed as the 49ers having just surrended another sack were about to get pummeled away.  Instead, they got a 2nd long breather and finally came ready to play.  Another nail-biter to the end, but glad to see Ray Lewis ride out on top and the Ravens to host the Lombardi again!
