This talented malcontent was released by the Lions.  Should the Skins take a flyer on him?  I say no.  I think the guy is a cancer.  He definitely has talent but I'd rather continue to develop guys like Robinson.  Any thoughts?

I agree with you however it is the Lions we are talking about. They have a messed up staff imo. I agree he seems like a cancer or another diva WR that will not be happy unless the offense revolves around him.

I would stay clear and develop what we have, we have far larger needs imo.

Just say no. Our current group of WR's may not be the best in the business, but at least they have their heads on straight and play for the team and not themselves. No way do I want a cancer like Young coming to this team. And BTW it wasn't the Lions who were posting tweets about how he should get the ball all the time etc. That was young. He's an immature punk who thinks he's better then he really is. No Thanks!

Ehh, I have the same opinion with any troubled player with talent... or with an 'over-the-hill' player.... If we can bring them in dirt cheap to compete, why not bring 'em in? If he's very reasonable, I'd bring him in... I doubt he will be cheap unless no one else expresses interest so chances are we won't get him, we have other needs to address

If we had our $18 million, I'd consider trying him out for a cheap contract, but we us already over the cap by $4 million, I just think that if we end up with any FA dollars, it needs to be spent on a RT and some new DB's. Unfortunately, because of the cap hit, most help, if any, will have to come in the draft or from players who were injured last year and will hopefully be back at full strength this year.

I think too many people are putting too much into statements made by Young. Every single one of us have gotten a little drunk and sent texts out that we normally wouldnt. I can guarantee that every single person who posts here sent out a drunk text begging your ex wife to leave the man shes with and to come back home and that you'll do better to make her happy. The next day you wish that your phone died before you sent out that message. Same things apply to talented athletes like Titus. I say bring him in and sign him to a deal similar to Garcon.

I read a real good article from the Penalty Flag this morning and it actually makes sense.  ESPN was reporting that the Ravens were looking to deal Anquan Boldin in the offseason.  With Joe Flacco demanding a huge sum, Steve Bischotti and Ozzie Newsome are going to have to do some wheeling and dealing to make cap room and space for Flacco's hefty contract and you know that it is going to be long term.  If Moss doesnt come back next year, Boldin would certainly look good in burgandy and gold..

I would keep an eye on Titus Young, but wouldn't sign him until mid year. I don't think he has learned anything. A guy I might look at is Kenny Britt..he is a dumb ass too but if healthy he performs

Young was picked up on waivers by the Rams. So we can forget about him. Unless he blows it there too. Then maybe he'll be available cheap by midseason. lol

I would love Britt ... potential is there... physical qualities that we need ... except that he hasn't shown that he can stay away from injuries, even during his young career ... can't stay on the field.  Because of our limited resources this year, the ones that we do sign and draft we have to hit on more so than other years IMO.  So I'm really hoping we stay away from the injury risks.

If not for that Britt would be worth it as I feel, if he can stay on the field, he has real #1 WR potential.

i may be deluusional but i was thinking Kenny Britt for just about the league minimum plus incentives...because he hasn't been able to stay on the field and he is a knuckle head.

Why are you even discussing Kenny Britt?  He's not a free agent he's going into a contract year.  Are you suggesting we trade for him?

No, i said he would be a guy i would be interested in signing if the Titans cut him.

it started by saying young is a knuckle head who hasn't learned his lesson.  if we would go the knuckle head route i would rather see us sign kenny britt if he gets cut..or even in 2014

Well based on reports posted today, it sounds like Young will be released by the Rams after a whole 10 days on the roster. This guy must be a real piece of crap for Fisher to give up on him so quickly. This is just another case of a guy with a ton of talent and a 2 cent brain. What a waste. lol

no, he's got too much of a mouth and there's a reason why WR needy teams like Detroit then St. Louis let him go.
