Main reason 49ers lost Super Bowl

First and goal from the Baltimore 7, I thought the Niners would pound the ball at the Ravens and run clock.  After one run for 2 yards leading to the 2 minute warning, with three downs left to get the 5 more yards to get into the end zone, they could have taken the lead and left the Ravens with either 40 seconds left in the game or with two fewer timeouts.  Instead, they ran three straight pass plays.  Maybe they were trying to take the Ravens off guard, but it didn't work.

I also don't understand that bootleg play they run, and they ran it at least twice in the game.  Crabtree is open right away though not in the end zone yet.  Why not throw it to him right then and let him try to run the few yards into the end zone, rather than wait until after he runs into the end zone and the defensive man comes over on coverage?

1.  turnovers at the most worst times.
2.  Not creating hardly any points when they had a chance to 
3.  Bad play calling near end zone
4.  Poor clock managment
5.  Flacco was on his game bigtime and Colin was not.

 

in my opinion, officiating had nothing to do with the game, they weren't the ones that got the 49ers down 28-6.

Ohh hell, stop the whining. If not for the suspiciously timely power outage, the niners get blown out 49-9.

I'd say the main reason the Niners lost the Super Bowl is because they didn't score more points then the Ravens.

Hard to imagine they wouldn't have scored with 1st and goal at the 1 yard line which they should've had.

On reflection after 24 hours:

1. Not bothering to show up until after the blackout
2. Playcalling during the final goalline sequence
3. The abysmal play of the secondary throughout
