Knicks win again; undefeated since Rondo injury

February 5, 2013 2:05 pm

LMAO...

Marbury is a ball hog?

Irving is taking more shots this year than Marbury took in all but two seasons of a 13 year career...

But Marbury was the ball hog... BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAAAA

AAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Irving is averaging fewer assists in either year of his career than Marbury did in all but the last three years of his career when he was a bench player...

Irving takes more shots than Marbury... And he passes less than Marbury... BUT... BUT... BUT... MARBURY WAS A BALLHOG!!!!!!!

BAHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!

You need a nap...
Ball hogging isn't based on the number of shots you take

It's based on the number of shots you take relative to the number of shots you should be taking

"stats is a flawed stat"

...........

since you are himping these "flawed stats" arguments i have made

why is it that we all point out how flawed any single stat can be all the time, but are not willing to entertain it in basketball?

it is simple.

especially with FG%

if a guy is wide open, he should hit that shot more often than a guy who is defended. Rondo is left as open as a Center from 20 feet, pretty often. they let him shoot it, because if he makes them at 45% all night, the team won't score over 70 points...also why doc won't let him shoot it.

so...the D is able to play 5 on 4 in the halfcourt...close out on 3 poitn shooters easier, etc.

most guards hit that shot better than 45% if left open, there is no stat for that, i understand, it is just something you have to see engouh to understand.

why doesn't he shoot it more often? cause he shouldn't

In 38 games this season Rondo attempted 32 shots from 10-15 feet.  Thats it?

Knicks win again; undefeated since Rondo injury

February 5, 2013 2:14 pm

Chris Paul this season has attempted 120 shots from 16 feet to 3pt range and is shooting 46%
Paul also has a man on him the 2nd he crosses midcourt

Rondo (might) have a man on him the second he crosses the foul line

You really can't compare the percentages of the 2 - it's like comparing home run totals in Petco and Coors

Let me get all Uno here and say that if I provide you with a link where you dismissed his assist totals and FG% by saying that he shoots poorly from FT% and 3P%, and you leave this thread forever, deal?

............

1. let me get all snoogins on you and go into a big dramatized hissy fit stating i am leaving and you are all big meanies...and then not leave

"deal?"

2. becasue assists and more so, FG% is so misleading whn you don't watch a player play

He doesnt' care about Rondo.. He just wants to disagree with me.

It's what he has become... A SnooginsGroupie

wait, are you talking about me?

Because I don't really disagree with either.. But ive seen this bickering on going for a long as time now..

I'm just pointing his worth as a shooter is lower than most Point guards. Because his lack of a 3 point game and low FT% and Low FT attempts.

I get why he draws less Fouls than most. I also get everything Else he brings to game is above average.
