That's a tough one. On one hand, your 2 guys are 2 very young guys with not a lot of tear on their bodies, and have produced quite nicely. Question is, can they keep it up? Especially Morris, who I question b/c of the system and Shanahan's propensity to use whatever RB he likes at the moment.
On the other hand, you would be gaining 2 proven, and very studly RBs. They may have some wear and tear, but they're far from old and at their peak.
I thought you were trying to get rid of one of your QBs? I'd try and offer up to Steamrollers before making any deals with this other guy.
I wouldn't do that deal, at best it's a lateral move. The only way you "win" this deal is if ALF ends up in Shanny's doghouse and Helu takes over. Ray Rice's role may be slightly diminished as theRavens move towards a more downdield attack (no, I'm not saying he's not a stud anymore..just not AS studly) and Lynch's running style just begs for season ending injury. I'd stand pat and keep working on a deal with RGIII
I don't know why you wouldn't want CJ1K. Sure, he hasn't had a year like he did a couple years ago, but he's been steady, and had a nice season last year. I would go after McCoy first, offering simply RG3 alone. IOf that doesn't work, Id try getting CJ1K for RG3.
