What do you folks think of the Panthers asking the city of Charlotte and the State of NC to pay for upgrades to BofA stadium? It cost 190 mil to build it in 1995, now it's costing 250 mil to renovate(no inflation in the US?).
That is a lot to ask for but they also did ask for any when they built the stadium. If the city/state does this they need to get the Panthers to sign a agreement to stay in the Carolina for atleast 10 years.
Sounds like the Panthers and the Charlotte city council came to an agreement. It all depends on the state of NC giving 62 mil. Will have to wait and see on this. If this passes it requires the Panthers to stay for 15 years. Hopefully if the state gives the money they will add another 5-10 years to that.
