Not sure what your league setup is and roster etc, but I want Chapman here, he's got a starting job as a SP this year and I'd hold him see how he does and if you want to trade him regardless you need more in return than what is being offered.

I would need a bit more info on who this Jose Fernandez is.  If he is the kid in the Marlins Org., 20 years old, and in A ball, then I would need to know if this is a keeper league or not.

The more league info you can provide, the better responses you will likely get.

Its hard to give you a fair answer when your question looks like it was written by a 5th grader.

The more clear information you can post, the better the answer you can get in return.

For instance you might want to include your roster, your league settings and the type of league.

I would like to help you, I just dont know how.

Sorry!

So it's a keeper league, but how many do you keep?  The total kept will drastically change the impact of that 17th pick in the draft.

Jose Fernandez must be the pitcher in the Marlins organization, who is a top 10 prospect in all of baseball.  My problem is that he's a young pitcher and they seem to have such a high turnover/failure rate as prospect making the transition.  With that being said, he's got the frame and the command to make the jump and succeed.  He's at least a full season away, potentially two, and when he does come up he'll be pitching for the Marlins (need I say more), but he could turn out to be a front of the rotation starter.

But Aroldis Chapman could be a special starting pitcher in fantasy baseball, he's tough to ignore.  It basically comes down to how many keepers there are and who will be available at the 17th pick.  In a 12 team league with 3 keepers each, there could be good value at that 17th spot.  If you're keeping 5+ per team, it start to diminish quickly.

With the information you've given, I'd pull the trigger for Chapman.

Also, it's "Proposed" not "Purposed" and writing with a sensible use of capital letters would help your responses.

Sadly, 99% of folks get peeved when you post something like this.  I am just responding to tell you that I am one of the 1% that sees this as just trying to be helpful to somebody, both now, and in the future.
