So I really think that it comes down to Miggy or Trout...I'm sitting right now with the number one pick in my draft and I truly think that Miggy is the safer of the two players. Trout had a 'historic' season (as everyone has heard, time and again), yet Miggy hasn't played less than 156 games in the past 5 seasons. First Triple Crown winner in 45 years? Check. Trout can obviously baffle fans and opponents with his sheer skill yet the pressure is on for him to improve on last years numbers and I think that takes a toll this season. I keep going back and forth, but I take Miggy #1 as he has been consistent year after year and has shown that injury isn't a concern (knock on wood...no, really--do it). If anyone has a reason for me to go with Trout #1, i'd love to hear it; the other GMs in my leagues are vultures and look for any opportunity to harass me haha. Happy Fantasy Baseball 2013, fellas!

Trout is an amazing ballplayer but facts show us that a veteran would be a more reliable option.... Sophomore slump anyone? Look at Heyward (suppose to be able to see the seams of the baseball while it's coming at him my Arse)
Talk about a no-brainer -- Miggy has to be #1. The guy is a machine right now and with his switch from 1st to 3rd, it made him even more valuable, as the position lacks in top end talent.
Unless you are in a H2H league where pitchers get an absurd amount of points -- Miggy has to be the choice.
Arguments could be made for Trout, but it is tough to expect him to do the same thing in year 2. His numbers tailed off greatly at the end of the year once pitchers had faced him multiple times. It will be interesting to see if that was due to fatigue on his part (which I doubt, as he is 20) or if pitchers figured out how to pitch to him. The guy is still a beast though.
