A weight limit in the NFL?

February 12, 2013 8:27 pm

Well, while I may think your ideas are the product of a weak effete mind, I wouldn't go as far as calling you a "woman."

I will admit this, at least you are better at this, than Fresh Kill, Scuba, and PittSteel. Those guys are as funny as the burnt victim ward. There insults are so bad, kids with celebral palsy feel bad for them. But regarless, stating you are the best out of them, is like saying in the land of the blind, you have the best sense of smell. is a small, minor victory, but is a victory none the less.

Now, to your comment. It seems you have a problem with women....I guess being rejected all those years, did a number of you. You know, if I were you, I would give them a try. They have some really awesome parts that guys don't. But if its guys that you are into, and there is nothing that would lead me to believe you are not. Hey, more power to you. Do your thing, but maybe you should think about stopping with the women bashing. It is a terrible character flaw.

clearly not, for starters, that is two grades above your reading comprehension. Second, you are too stupid to see the greater point. For the sake of argument, lets say you are right? Which you aren't, but lets say you were. Then what? do you get some special badge you get to carry around? Do people outside your parent's storage shed congratulate you? You much rather be right in this message board, than have some basic skill that are needed to succeed in life. That is truly sad, again, if you weren't so stupid, you would be a tragedy.
The only tragedy is the idea that started this thread. It would do nothing to reduce concussions, would ruin the game of football and would put players at risk when they attempted to cut water in order to meet the requirements.

It's not a good idea, so just let this thread die and we'll pretend like it never happened.

Let me see if I can string together a few words that are coherent enough for you. You are another idiot, that comes from the long line of social rejects that hang around these boards. I imagine, that if your mom could, she would have had your biological father beat her in the stomach, with a bat covered in rusty nails if she knew her son would turn out to be such a loser. Dang it, I don't think i am getting my point across right. Let me try again, what you wrote today, is the highlight of your day. The day you came out of your mother's va*gin*a was the last time you touched one.

Do me a solid, would you? Find out how much rat poison you can eat before you get sick.....is a science experiment. We are trying to find out, if rat poison works faster on rats, or on idiots.

clearly not, for starters,
This is what I am talking about. You never fail to deliver.
For the sake of argument, lets say you are right?
Oh, you're asking? O.K. Yes, I am right.

Which you aren't, but lets say you were.
Is there a noun in our future?

You much rather be right in this message board, than have some basic skill that are needed to succeed in life.

Like English comprehension and basic writing skills? You clearly have cornered the market on those.

I can eat alphabet soup and piss better sentences than you can manage to construct.

All this, and you still can't refute the fact that you're "idea" that you credited to  "the great" Mel Kiper is horribly short-sighted and can't stand up to five minutes of scrutiny.

It has been a pleasure exposing you as a complete moron. My work is done here.

There you go again. You are so obsessed with being right, here, in this message board. Oh, look Mr. English class is giving out free courses on a sports message board! Everyone make sure you signED up! You are so happy to correct me on my sentences, but yet, you still won't refute the fact that I call you a social reject. But hey, if you rather be giving out grammar lessons on a message board, over working on social skills. Well, usually I send you with, a more power to you. But you? I would say, seek help. Clearly you need it. Oh, and by the way, you are wrongED, and I am right. All you have proven is, your lack of abilities to interact with others.

A- Of course there is. This NFL board has an enormous collection of social outcasts. They cannot behave themselves. They will insult someone they never met, because of the safety they feel of doing it over the internet. The reason for this, is two-fold. One, they suffer from mental illness, clearly, someone just doesn't start insulting total strangers without having a few screw loose in the head. Second, they were bullied in their formative years, and they come here to exorcise their demons.

B- Thanks for the great feed back on the idea. You really broke that one down.

A better idea might be to have the players stop wearing equipment, just play in shorts and a jersey and why tackle? Just use flags. Problem solved.

some have said, have them not wear facemask. That might make them stop leading with the ehad. look, in a perfect world, players would go out there and beat the hell out each other, and that would be that. But they aren't doing that. Is not a matter of if, but when the NFL will take a giant step in rule changes. We can complain and get upset about it, or accept it. cause we are the outliers, and trust me, you care the least about the diehard, and you care more about the casual.

And football is not a combat sport like MMA or boxing. It's a CONTACT sport. Big difference. Basketball is a contact sport too. Perhaps we should install weight limits there, though of course that would also instill height limits by association.

You are such a nerd. In what world do you think football and basketball are more similar than MMA? What basketball games are you playing, the old video game "Arch Rivals"? How does banging down the boards even come close to getting your head knocked off by a 300 plus lb Defensive Tackle that can run faster than the avg person? I would think a sport where your purpose is to inflict major physical pain is closer than the basketball, where they don't even do hand checking anymore.

Meh, I'll take that as the minor compliment it was intended as.

Now you have entered ... The Clueless Zone. I find it ironic that after you chastise others for the weakness of their attacks, you would yourself engage in such predictable, lazy intimations that I have had troubles with women, based entirely on a few comments and knowing nothing of my history. 1st of all, as you are aware, I have no difficulty in metaphorically "tooting my own horn", and doing such I will inform you (your belief or non belief is immaterial to me) that I am pretty damn handsome. Long blond hair blue eyes and have been lifting weights since the 7th grade, so I never had ANY trouble with women, certainly not a rejection issue. My wife of 12 years could attest to that.
-
That said, I don't bash women, I bash idiots, regardless of their sex, I treat them equally, unlike you who seems to demonstrate your sexist attitudes with inferences that women need to be protected from bashing above and beyond such protections afforded men, obviously from the misogynist idea that they are weaker and need protecting. So I find it emminently ironic and laughable that in your rush to try to say I have a problem with women, you reveal your own inherent misogyny.

Let me see if I can string together a few words that are coherent enough for you.
Well let's have a look.

You are another idiot, that comes from the long line of social rejects that hang around these boards.

What exactly is the purpose of the comma afte the 4th word in this sentence? There is no purpose behind it because it is pretty obvious that you have no idea how to use a comma.

Guess that answers part one of the post.

Now to the 2nd part of my post, which I assume you ignored because your position is indefensible. Spending the entire thread smearing feces on the walls of your jail cell after watching your argument get ripped to shreds is no way to go through life.

So tell me.

How would this reduce injuries? Citing medical opinions, exploring specific practices that would be used to implement the program, addressing the problems caused by forcing players to cut weight, and showing why this would provide a better bang for the NFL's buck. Considering that just about every lineman ever picked in the first round(that's hundreds of millions of dollars currently on the field) is now going to be punted to the curb. I can't imagine you actually have any answers to these questions, which is why I suspect you haven't been able to answer them all thread.

Sol, I doubt he understood one word of what you just wrote.

Everything this clown types is ironic.

But I'm looking forward to hearing a response from someone who criticizes others for poor social graces as he so eloquently put it, and yet tells a complete stranger to drink rat poison just a few posts before making that comment.
