How about hitting more doubles?

Home: 151 Away: 94

His HR splits are just 49 at home, 41 on the road.

Right handed hitters have an advantage due to the wall?  You don't say.    Next you'll tell me left handed hitters tend to fair well at Yankee stadium.

Strasburg better pitch 300 innings this year to make up for Gio being suspended.

Of course they do, but that was kinda, you know, the point.

like this time of year.  Heatwave is fun around this time of year.  He goes waaaaaaaaaaaay downhill around July.  Like the Jays.

HW, I still agree with you on Lebron.
i am gonna have fun around here this year.. man oh man.. its probably gonna be a ghost town.

but GD and VP and others a gonna feel it.

wait you mean your point was that when Pedroia doesn't play with a distinct advantage that gives favorable conditions to right handers, he is a pretty ordinary player?

Oh, well in that case...

Picture Down's anger and hatred of the rival fanbase, but with 10x more intellect, and post that aren't longer than War and Peace

To Heatwave's defense, he did stick around last year as opposed to all the previous years

To his non-defense, he only stuck around so he could make injury excuses about a team that was never going to make the playoffs

If you're going to make injury excuses, and include Jesse Litsch in them, you're better off just not being around

No.

My point was that Pedroia is awesome, no matter where he plays, who he faces, or how much grit the opposing pitcher lacks.

Walks too.

Walks and doubles are bad, especially when combined in a high number, and compiled by the same player.

I also learned that the Dodgers are gonna score 950 runs next year.

He combines exception baseball knowledge with an rational/irrational (depends on who you ask Laughing) hatred of all things Boston and especially Pedroia

He did what Uno did, but in 40 fewer thread pages

By who exactly?

Rock, as decided by himself?

It's not exactly a stretch to say that Pedroia is a dime a dozen player when he's not at Fenway. It's just that nyy1 says it with much angrier eloquence than I can ever hope to

first off, dime a dozen , lol

and it was more than rock and it was one of the most ridiculous arguments this board as ever seen, very surprising that it was nyy1 that was its proponent
