Dont' get too excited.  There's only so many, "I'm a smart nerd' jokes and they loop after a few months.  Like 'Frasier', the premise is too limited for longevity.

I Dream of Jeanie. Barbara Eden's fantastic headlights "accentuated".....have NO idea what they were talking about

Dick Van Dyke Show.  Mary Tyler Moore's legs in the early '60's

Friends. Jennifer Aniston's ENTIRE body; from ANY angle

WKRP in Cincinnati.  Loni Anderson....that's it....JUST Loni Anderson

Benny Hill......ALL the ladies on that show

Old school - gotta go with I Love Lucy.

Other faves growing up - I Dream of Jeanie, Cheers, MASH, Fraiser.

Looking back, WKRP was the best.  Too short lived, though.

Today, although I love South Park, nothing beats Archer for pure comic gold (and raunch)...

I can't believe a show about some guys acting like OCD little boys and women is wiining this poll. Hell, Seinfeld had some awesome moments(Soup Nazi, Sponges, etc), but overall was just a little more funny than "Hello Larry."

1. Sanford and Son (It's not close)

2. All in the Family (groundbreaking and antagonistic. Good stuff!)

3. Barney Miller (Dum, Dadadum, dadadum... Best. Music. Ever.)

4. MASH (The early years especially)

5. Scrubs (Very funny)

Honorable Mention:

One Day at a Time. (I KNOW I am in the minority here, but I liked it as a kid)

Night Court (see above)

Although not a sitcom no show has ever made me laugh more than the Carol Burnett show, Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were freakin' brilliant.

All In The Family, Seinfeld, In Living Color, Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons, Cheers, Night Court, Perfect Strangers, Three's Company, Gilligan's Island, I Dream Of Jeanie, The Cosby Show, I Love Lucy, Green Acres, Get Smart, The Munsters, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Good Times, Newhart, The Bob Newhart Show, Entourage, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, and My Name Is Earl are sitcoms that I just absolutely love but my favorite of all time has to be Married with Children.  I've never looked forward to any sitcom as much as I looked forward to Fox Sunday nights with The Simpsons, In Living Color and most of all Married with Children.  I don't think I've laughed at a show more than I've laughted at Married with Children and afterall, laughter is the purpose of a situation comedy.

There is a new Sitcom in production now that is sure to be an all-time great:

Masteragain, F&L Mball, and BB are all roomates.  The original odd couples right, but here is the catch, Sol is court ordered to be their butler.  It practically writes itself.

F&L had to be cut at the last moment b/c testing audiences found him to be "creepy".
