New WR coach Richard Mann

Steelers hired Richard Mann(pittsburgh native) as their WR coach - My biggest concern - can he teach these kids to hang onto the football?

Did I hear right that he has been out of coaching for a few years? 

He seems to be a big attention to detail guy, just what they need.

I know Coach Mann pretty well, nice guy. Little concerned about his age but he's always been a  good coach and he knows how to deal with the diva personality some WRs bring.

Will be nice seeing him around more than once a year. This is probably his last job. He came home to coach and then retire.

burgh - did you happen to get a call before this guy did?  I think Tomlin is looking to age his coaching staff.  Doesn't the saying go "The older you get, the bumber you get."   No offense, burgh.

No offense taken and in may case it may be true..  just change the "bumber" to "dumber" and I'm sure you'll get buy in from Mrs. Burghball...

By the way - I got her a pedometer for V-day.   It didn't go over too good...  It's setting on the counter and she draped the sales receipt over it...

I was listening to the FAN yesterday,  I don't remember if it was Ed B or someone else that speculated that Scott Montgomery might not have been back anyway.  They were not happy with the work ethic of the receivers.

Guys, I know we see Burghball's black & white AV all the time, but Burghball isn't as old as you may think.
Certainly not as old as his AV.
I believe Nybites is older than he.

nah - I got him by a year.....  I'm older BUT  he is better lookin....  (oh brother what a slow day at a comedy club..)

but there are Lots of black and whites of me from the 60's.....
