What was that all about with Boeheim calling out Andy Katz for being an idiot and disloyal in the post-game presser? I didn't know reporters had an obligation to kiss butt to these egocentric college coaches.

Just a guess here, but maybe Boeheim didn't like Katz going back to the whole Bernie Fine inquiry. Maybe Katz' line of questioning at that time annoyed Jim? I don't know. As far as the whole Southerland thing, Katz just reported what Southerland said to him, which was already published in the paper supposedly.

Funny how a win over SU brings out the best in folks.

He didn’t….but he evidently knows his place cause he stfu.  Katz is a douche going all the way back to his high school days when SU wouldn't offer...even though his parents are SU alumns, through his stealing days in college,  (might be why JB didn’t offer) right up through today with his constant attacks on SU.  JSouth’s story is different than Katz’s.

St. John's….Enjoy your 2 mil a year.  Do you now see what the bball only schools did?  Are you getting it now?  Do you see what the fall out is of real programs leaving because schools get together and vote the football programs down.  Own it SJU.  You’re school is one reason why St. Johns is taking a pay cut.

Second, UConn played great and deserved to win. To bad coach Ollie (like the guy) will be in the skeleton BE going forward. UConn needs the Cuse, the Cuse used to need UConn, sad but true.

Yeah I`m so glad Syracuse is going byebye, Our AD should be fired, what does SJU gain by scheduling SU at the Garden? I would`ve said you come to Carnesecca or no play.  Yeah I know SU would be there in preseason tournaments  but still.

Boeheim has had it his way for so long up in Syracuse, even slithering clear of any blame in the Bernie Fine fiasco, that he obviously thinks he is beyond reproach.

Boeheim's always wanted to be as good as Bob Knight at everything.

Izzone lives in a glass house.  Him and the St. Johns supporter both.  When SU drubbed SJU all over the dome last week, I didn't once get in his face.  He's another one that thinks class is inherited or something you can buy.

I can understand Coach Boeheim's anger directed at Katz.  According to Boeheim, during the Bernie Fine situation, Katz asked for an interview and Boeheim said OK and they agreed that no questions about Fine would be asked.  As soon as the on camera interview started, Katz started asking about Bernie fine and continued in that vane for 10 questions.  AFIC, Katz got exactly what he deserved.

It's safe to say that Izzo would have handled it much better than Boeheim had Katz say... Oh I dunno, asked him about Payne and Appling assualting that girl in the dorm a few years ago...  He certainly wouldn't have lashed out like Boeheim did.

No, I think it's a pretty safe bet that he would have started blubbering like a fat girl who dropped her last Twinkie on the floor... like he always does.

What Izzo would have done is a strawman since he would have had the maturity and self control to not lash out like an adolescent had he been asked the question. Boehiem has been holding this grudge for over a year. That sounds so Bob Knight like...maybe that should tell you something!

Right Izzone.  We agree.  Izzone wouldn't have acted at all like Boeheim did.  Lashing out is not Izzo's MO.

Izzo would have done his best Jimmy Swaggart Impression (anybody else see the resemblance?  If not google "Tom Izzo Crying" and then "Jimmy Swaggart Crying" and tell me what you think) and started blubbering like a fat schoolgirl.  Because that's what Tom Izzo does. 

Certainly classier than what Boeheim did.  No question about that.  Izzo knows how to handle himself in those situations.

I wonder if he cries to get out of speeding tickets too, or if having the entire East Lansing P.D. and D.A. on the MSU payroll takes care of that problem already.  After all, that's how you keep things private.
