Is he really trying to do his best for his client or is it himself he's looking after. Robinson Cano is eligible for free agency after the 2013 season. He and the Yankees are far apart on a new contract. Think Boras is fueling the fire between the two sides. I really don't care if Cano goes free agent, this would be good for the Angels and Dodgers. However, I'm sure Yankees fans aren't happy.
I love Cano, and I know he wants to get paid, duh. I also know that Boras is a snake, but if I was Cano, I would want that snake on my side. Its all I can say about it, it is what it is. I don't fault the Yankees if they pass on, on him. it is a business and you want to make money, and if having to trim the payroll is part of that equation, then so be it. I only wish there was a way, anyway to get rid of Arod....he irks me more than any player.
