Rob Parker (yes, the guy who refered to RG3 as a "cornball brother") is reporting that sources have told him that the Rams plan to cut Titus Young today.
I gotta immagine those are bogus reports, without any offseason workouts yet, the Rams wouldn't have had the chance to see what he's going to do, thus they'd have no reason to cut him.
If it is true then I think Fisher was likely doing Schwartz a solid by claiming Young only to turn around and embarass him by cutting him 10 days later. Kind of like a "f**k you, kid" for pulling the nonsense he did.
But, given Parker's reputation, I'm going to lean towards bogus report...
Fisher said they claimed him because they wanted to bring him in and sit down and talk with him. They spent 4 or 5 days talking with him and after the interviews, Fisher decided Titus Young was not a good fit for the Rams.
Rumors is -- he may be done with football altogether.
Seriously, I think this guy is mentally ill and needs to be put away.
And the combined genius that is currently heading the direction of the Lions in Millenhew and Schwartz, who got to spend a tremendous amount of time with this idiot at the Senior Bowl didnt see anything wrong. That says a great deal right there. The Detroit Clown Show continues to provide pure comic gold for the NFL. It's the Ford Family who loves the show the most because they keep selling out the stadium and making millions upon millions to provide a completely inferior product on the field.
Titus Young reminds me of Maurice Clarett from 10 years ago. All he has to do is shut up and play football. But for some reason his mouth just keeps getting in the way.
I was very excited to have Titus Young on the team because he has potential to be Bradfords no.1 target. but if you can't be a team playa, then you can't be on a team. Would be nice to have him because he is better than Calvin Johnson! Maybe we go get Randy Moss cause he is better than Jerry Rice. LOL.
