Shoulda Woulda Coulda

Reading PFT saw an article with Former Jets GM about Tim Tebow succeed to die trying was the title..  At the end it mentions that if the Jets dump Tebow as expected and he is free to go anywhere the Patriots could be a landing spot.. I know we have gone through this before but now another year is done and we can reflect a little.. no he is not a QB.. is there a position you can envision for Tebow on the team? FB ? RB? LB? anything.. he is an athlete.. is does make things happen.. as long as he is not needing to throw the football..

should we.. would we.. could we ?

If he's willing to take a small contract while learning the ropes as a TE/FB/H-Back, sure. He's got amazing athleticism and you can never have too many of those guys.

If he's not, no thanks.

Agreed. TE/HB/FB that could be third QB in an emergency.

No, forget that.

TE/HB/FB.

In a catastrophe, maybe Chris Simms could suit up. Isn't he still on the coaching staff?

I would say he could be the game day 2nd string QB, but that would require him taking reps in practice as a QB just in case, which, no, absolutely not. If they bring him in, he's a TE or FB or H-Back. Period.

with all those 3rd and 2`s in the AFC CG NE could have used him on a few of those, if anything that would be a perfect use for him, he `s probably better than Arrington at CB..hahahaha

No, stay away.  He would be a good running back but I do not want him in New England!
