UNC vs. Virginia game 2

Yes ... ft's could be huge again, hopefully a good thing for us this game.

virginia is smart....double team the post as soon as macadoodoo gets it. He doesnt realize the open person is behind him...he will pass it late ur shoot the baseline jumper like he is the dream. Great block bullock and pj....no words!!!!

right cool ... that's what i was saying before ... usually the 2nd pass out of a double is the open guy ... this year's team dosen't swing the ball from one side of the floor to the other enough ..

we have been passing out of the double better in the last 10 min of the first 1/2 though ..

and we have come out nice to start the second half .... looking pretty good

love how strick is playing today.....still dont like when he dribbling the ball at the top of the key then shots the fadeaway, but other than that, he is playing real good

The thing I like about pj the most is that he tracks down rebounds really well for his size. Wonder what our record would have been with Hairston in the starting lineup the whole season. Maybe 1 or 2 less losses ? But anyway great game by him. He is our best player and most reliable score by far. McAdoo is our 3rd or 4th most reliable player now, kid keeps regressing and getting worse. 4-10 FG, 1-4 Ft and 3 TO's , typical stat line for him. Would rather see Simmons and Johnson

Still gotta try it out to begin with though...it's worked so well in the two games.  Bring in Hubert or James after three or four minutes if it looks like a mis-match.  But I think it would cause matchup problems for State too...Heels would be much quicker

Bring in Simmons or Johnson as well...and hopefully James is recovered from his concussion by then.  Really hope he's recoved by the time they go to Georgia Tech this Tuesday.

Looks like we will live and die by the three this year.  We were certainly hot today.  Strickland had a very solid game.  It looks like he has finally got his speed back.  Roy has to keep the small lineup.  PJ has been getting more rebounds than Hubert, Johnson and James combined.  Did anyone hear if James was still out due to the concussion, because he didn't log a single minute.

Glad to see this team step up for a big win, but wouild have liked to see the energy from the start.  They actually seemed flat to start.

Yes, James was not cleared medically to play...should be back Tuesday.

good ... the more the better down there .... hey, even if we start small, no rule saying we have to stay that way the whole game ... recognize what's working and what will work vs certain teams ... matchups ..... coaching!  Maybe that's the type of team we got and what will lead to the most success this year.  Not just trotting out the same lineup each game.  I think that's the case anyway.

Putting 93 on the board against one of the top Defensive teams in the country is no small task. Way to go. Now we gotta keep it up...
