Miami sucks, sucks, and sucks.

If you went to Miami and thought it sucked, you didn't do it right. It is one of the great international cities in the country.

But to each their own.

No, I been there 4 times, and was left with a meh. Sure, you can throw a rock and hit a porn star at any other corner. And yeah, there is like a 50 strip clubs, but that's not the Horse's scene. Even their topless beaches were more dudes than chics. I did enjoy Key West far better. The food was not that great, and too many fakes. It made some NYers look like salt of the Earth people.

One time was enough to know it sucked Boise. But hey mock my opinion all you want, what makes yours any better?

Oh it doesn't neccessarily make my opinion any better. Afterall, it's just an opinion, right?

All I will say is that I'd venture to guess I've probably been to Washington state, oh maybe 30 or so times in my life, Seattle probably around 20 times. But yes, it's all a matter of opinion I suppose. It just seems to me that you were quick to formulate your opinion without spending a great deal of time there. Perhaps you didn't give it much of a chance. What part of Washington were you located in when you were there? How long were you there for and what did you get a chance to do while you were there for training?

Social life in Boise Idaho? lol im sorry but ill pass.

Ever been there, swamp? Or is this just another opinion you've formulated? Boise sucks and has no social scene?

You should go there sometime and experience it for yourself, homey. It's a great city. But that's just one man's opinion.

Yeah, you definitely didn't do Miami right.

Only been there once. I thought it was killer city though, Lass. Especially when you are young(er), as in early to mid 20s.

I agree, B4L. Culturally unique.

But I generally enjoy any place I travel to. If you visit someplace and don't take something good from it, you have missed out.

I was in Spokane December 2010 for a week and it was disgusting. I had homeless people asking for money and cigarettes and there were no stall doors on the shit****ters downtown and I was drunk and had to shit**** with no stall doors. Apparently I was told by the bartender they have a bad drug problem and had to take down the stall doors. We went downtown one of the first nights we were there and I was so disgusted I didn't even bother going anywhere else

The preceding thread is sponsored by traveladvisor.com the place where football fans can schedule road games.

Just a hint, when you visit a new place, don't head down to the run-down part of town. But since Swampy was probably staying at some cheap dive, and decided to hang out at sleazy bars, he probably had a bad experience. Hey, places exist all over the country where getting knifed or shot is almost a sure thing, Swampy. Since you are headed to Miami, maybe I could suggest a few of those joints, so you won't be disappointed. Every town I know has some. Most of us possess eyes, brains, and the intelligence to avoid that. Travel is what you make it, my friend. But since your Gators don't get out much, I'd suggest going online and getting some hints from fans who actually have, you know, like us Boise fans.

Gee, rather than experiencing some new things, how about just staying home in your basement, Swampy? Much safer there.

I'm glad this thread has remained somewhat civil. I agree with Swampy on Spokane, there are better places to visit. I agree with Gator Lass if you visit a city and don't recognize or absorb the history or the culture of it, you wasted your time and money. Smiles, be nice and don't be mean to the SEC fans. SEC football is good football, I enjoy watching their games and they know how to tailgate proper and so do we.

Lars

actually smiles i was staying on base. Good one though. Doesnt get much safer than military installations. Indeed i went to downtown Spokane, 2 miles from Gonxaga campus. It was the "best" bars downtown Spokane had, and it sucked. But hey go ahead and keep trying that "humor" as you call it.

What happened to you then? Gee, rather than experiencing some new things, how about just staying home in your basement, Swampy? Much safer there.

Im from Florida, never been in a basement before. Im sure the basement your mom lets you stay in is sweet. Let me guess you got a sweet car bed?

To start, I thought this was about the future match-up between BSU, and Virginia? Not travel tips. Anyway, I think this is great for BSU, because it's exactly what us Bronco fans want to see, (unlike the UT Martin game). A mutual home, and home against a respected well coached program. Yes, respectd. Mike London has done a great job there, after his success at Richmond, he has done a great job to rebuild the Cavaliers. These are important OOCs that BSU needs to continue in order continue gaining respect in the polls.

Hey, say what you all want, I rarely post here on the main boards anymore. Why? Well because it turns into another Boise State bash fest. I am proud of how far, and how fast Boise State has come, and with Coach Pete still being here - our future can only look better.
For the record though, I have never slammed another program nor it's fans, (I've only just defended my Broncos in these odd CFB forums), that as of late seem to just focus more on bashing Boise State. This has gone on now for a few years, however it has progressed to the point where who even wants to even post anymore. Slam our schedule all you want, I'm just glad we are still playing Nevada because it's a great rival, (and Coach Ault was there when I went to BSU back in the late 80s). Great Coach, and kudos for what he did for the program. Big respect.

I also wish that we still had a game against Idaho, because back then the Vandals owned us, and every beat down we have put against them over the past decade has only made me, -well, beyond proud. Bring back the game! Keep beating down the Vandals - UT Martin?

Go Broncos!!!!!!!!!!
