Looks like Harris reminded Jerry what a real 3rd WR is supposed to do at the end of last year. Ogletree was a complete waste of a roster spot except for week 1.
You know I liked him a lot, but last season he just didn't cap of his emrgence and that was the third shot he had. Now the problem is Harris is showing at about the same level as Kevin Ogletree did when he wanted the spot,...will he continue to grow at the position is the question. This is why I don't like players that don't show a potential in the first two years to be starters,............not third teamers,..starters,.....to me if you can't show that ability in the first two years, to crack the second spot on the depth chart,..you're not going to make much impact,.........
This team has had too many players that appeared to be late bloomers that ended up blooming once and the dying....you know like Miles Austin for instance,.........57 million for one year,.........17 million shelled out the second year of the contract at which point he began having "leg" injuries and has never come back.........I say we need to try really hard and get another Dez Bryant type reciever,...Austin needs to be replaced with somebody that gives us a dual threat down the field.........when he can Jerry's going to dump Austin I think you see that now,...and Austin has yet to regain that type of ability we saw when he garnered that contract..........
I'm not sure Harris is the answer,...I think we should try to get Laurent Robinson back............
I keep telling you guys Laurent Robinson is just like Austin Collie and Jahvid Best. All three have SSS. Soft Skull Syndrome and there is no cure for it. It happens after about 2 or 3 seasons of big hits. Lets move on please!!
Agree 100% with luvbigD. Why would we want to go back to a guy who's OBVIOUSLY still in the throes of post-concussion syndrome (sensitive to light, his child crying gives him migrains)? Don't we have enough younger guys (Harris, Danny Coale, Cole Beasley, etc., etc., etc.) to evaluate and give work/reps to...?
Let someone else deal with medical question marks.
