The Beer Cart League

Mutiny asked me if I would let him take my place in the baseball league.  I really was just joining to help fill it out.  Or at least mostly that.  I do enjoy the group and wanted to be a small part of the summer fun. 

Anyway, I left the league tonight so he can take my spot.

Hey Zell, I will join Ron's league if he needs a doormat to fill it out.  Just need the info. 

As far as football goes, I think the owners and players will eventually come to an agreement and we will have a season, so yeah, I will be back to reclaim my title. 

Hello Jimbo, been a long time.

Hey SF, it has been a long time.  Glad to see you are still flying the Saints logo.  Wonder what happened to them this past season.  It didn't quite look like the same team or same Brees. 

Okay, my Lucky Strikes are now part of The American Dream.  I can hardly wait for the season to start. 

Okay, perhaps I am not looking forward to it quite that much, but it will be good to see my players striking out once again.

I'm not looking forward to the American Dream season. Never played in league with only AL or NL before. That's got to be brutal when players start going down like dominoes.  Who the devil do you pick to fill the void??

it is a real challenge, sometimes you have to go way down the bench

Which will make it even tougher on a novice like me.  The shallower the pool, the more you need to know about the game to do well. 

On the other hand, my team usually stinks even with a whole ocean to swim in. 

We used to fight to be the bottom rung on the golf league ladder Jimbo. Now we can fight for last place in TAD.
