Oh, so lonesome for you
Why can't you be blue over me
Blue- Lee Ann Rimes

It actually was recorded by Bill Mack way back in the 50s but you are right - you can sure hear Patsy Cline when you listen to this one.

Hi Slip!
I'm glad to hear that all is going well on your trip.
Are you looking forward to coming home?
Or wishing you had more time there?

I am doing excellent - in spite of the cold winter.
We have had quite a bit more snow than last year but it sounds like the East Coast has had it much worse than us!
Good luck to them with digging out of this latest blast!

This next song is definitely a "mood" song and on my recent trip to New York City I put this one on the iPod and had a nice evening stroll through Manhattan.

Hey vibes man, hey jazz man, play me your serenade
Any deeper blue and you're playin' in your grave
Save your notes, don't spend 'em on the blues boy
Save your notes, don't spend 'em on the darlin' yearlin' sharp boy

You are probably right, Rock.....Hey! Random thought from me: YOU should guest star on the Flintstones as Rock Florida!

Hollywood Nights - Bob Seger

Acid, booze, and ass
Needles, guns, and grass
Lots of laughs lots of laughs
Everybody's saying that hell's the hippest way to go
Well I don't think so
But I'm gonna take a look around it though

Blue - Joni Mitchell. And remember Joe Piscopo (As Frank Sinatra), saying here's a real cool cat, Bruce Springstein.

Did you use that Ivy Leaage voodoo on him, too?

Spill the Wine - Eric Burdon with War. Supossedly, his self-deprecating references are what a critic once called him

I guess some day my kids will ask me 'bout the old days
I guess that I'll tell them there ain't much to tell
The waiters wore black dinner jackets and all that kind of thing

Bluer than velvet were her eyes
Warmer than May her tender sighs
Love was ours
Ours a love I held tightly
Feeling the rapture grow
Like a flame burning brightly
